If YouTube Live streaming is stuck at phone-number verification, first confirm that you received and entered the code for the intended channel, then check the channel’s Feature eligibility status in YouTube Studio. YouTube offers verification by text or voice call; if the code is delayed or unavailable, try the other delivery method or a number from a different carrier. After verification, a first live stream can take up to 24 hours to become available. That wait does not resolve a separate channel restriction or eligibility issue.
Start with the right channel and account role
Make sure you are signed in to the Google account and YouTube channel you intend to stream from. A code may verify an account or channel other than the one where you are trying to go live.
- Open YouTube Studio → Settings → Channel → Feature eligibility.
- Check the status of the feature you need and whether phone verification is still pending.
- If the channel is a Brand Account, an owner or manager can complete phone verification. For a channel that is not a Brand Account, only its owner can do so. Advanced identity verification has a separate requirement: it must be completed by the primary channel owner.
YouTube’s feature tiers are distinct: phone verification grants access to intermediate features, while advanced features and their limits may require additional eligibility, channel history, or identity verification. Check the status shown for your channel rather than assuming a successful phone check enables every feature. YouTube’s computer guide to intermediate and advanced features and its feature access overview explain the distinctions.
If the verification code does not arrive
YouTube sends a verification code by text message or voice call. Delivery may be delayed, and some carriers may not receive Google messages reliably.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
- Try the other delivery method. If you requested a text, choose voice call if available, or vice versa.
- Allow for delivery delay. Avoid repeatedly requesting codes while waiting for the first one to arrive.
- Try a number from another carrier if neither delivery method works. YouTube’s guidance notes that some carriers do not support its messages.
- Check the number limit. A phone number can be associated with no more than two channels per year. If YouTube says the number has reached that limit, use a different eligible number rather than retrying the same one.
These are code-delivery and number-eligibility checks; they do not establish whether the channel itself is cleared to livestream. See YouTube’s account verification guidance for its current instructions.
After verification, check activation time and restrictions
YouTube says a first live stream may take up to 24 hours to become available after live streaming is turned on. Treat that as an activation window, not a promise that every verification or eligibility problem will clear within 24 hours.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Computer streaming also requires a verified channel and no live-streaming restriction within the previous 90 days. If Feature eligibility shows the channel is verified but live streaming remains unavailable, inspect the channel’s current restrictions and feature status rather than repeating phone verification. YouTube’s computer live-streaming guidance describes the setup conditions.
Check whether you are trying to stream from a phone
Mobile live streaming has additional requirements and should not be confused with computer streaming. YouTube’s current mobile guidance requires at least 50 subscribers, channel verification, no live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days, and activation. It also specifies supported phone operating-system requirements. A channel below the mobile subscriber threshold may be unable to stream from the YouTube mobile app even if its phone number is verified; that threshold does not apply to computer streaming.

Quick diagnosis by symptom
| What you see | Likely issue to check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| No code arrives | Delivery method, carrier support, or delay | Try voice instead of text, wait for a delayed message, or use a number from a different carrier. |
| YouTube says the number cannot be used | The number may already be associated with two channels during the current year | Use a different eligible number. |
| Code accepted, but streaming is still unavailable | Activation time, channel role, feature status, or a live-stream restriction | Check Feature eligibility and restrictions; allow up to 24 hours for the first stream to activate. |
| Computer streaming works as an option, but mobile does not | Mobile-specific subscriber or device requirements | Check the 50-subscriber minimum and the current mobile device requirements. |
| A manager cannot complete an advanced check | Advanced identity verification requires the primary channel owner | Have the primary channel owner complete that separate verification. |
Or let it run in the cloud
If your channel is eligible and you want uploaded documentary footage to keep looping on YouTube, StreamNeo runs the stream from the cloud: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It does not bypass YouTube phone verification, feature eligibility, or restrictions; resolve those account-side requirements first.
