To keep aarti videos live around the clock, schedule a YouTube event for a one-off broadcast—or use a persistent encoder or automation workflow that continuously sends video to YouTube. Scheduling an event creates its watch page; it does not, by itself, repeat a playlist or keep a feed running. Enable live streaming in advance, confirm rights to the specific recording and performance, and plan how you will monitor the feed and preserve an archive.
Choose a scheduled event or a continuous feed

YouTube’s Studio scheduling instructions cover scheduled events, not a built-in scheduler that repeats a playlist indefinitely. For an unattended 24/7 channel, arrange a persistent source for the feed and a way to monitor it. Google’s API model separates the broadcast from the incoming stream, which is useful context for continuous setups; it is a developer-oriented route rather than the simplest Studio workflow.
Prepare the channel and recording
Check live-stream eligibility early
Verify the channel and enable live streaming before the planned launch. YouTube says first-time activation may take up to 24 hours. Its general eligibility guidance also says the streamer must be at least 16 and the channel must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the prior 90 days. Check the current requirements in YouTube’s live-streaming help before scheduling.
Confirm rights to the actual performance and recording
Before broadcasting, make sure you have permission for the specific aarti performance, recording, and any music included. Devotional subject matter does not, on its own, establish that a recording is free to use. The platform setup instructions do not resolve the legal status of a particular recording, so obtain permission from the relevant rights holders when needed.

Prepare and test the full feed
- Check that the video and audio play correctly from beginning to end, including the transition from the final item back to the start of a loop.
- Listen for appropriate audio levels, silence, clipping, or abrupt changes between recordings.
- Test what happens if the network or encoder is interrupted, and rehearse the restart procedure.
- Keep the stream key private. Use YouTube’s current encoder instructions to obtain the stream URL and key; do not expose the key in a public playlist, screenshot, or shared document.
YouTube’s encoder guidance explains how to connect a feed and start a stream, but it does not guarantee uptime or automatic failover. Treat testing, monitoring, and a recovery plan as operational responsibilities.
Schedule a one-off aarti broadcast in YouTube Studio
- Open the scheduling flow. In YouTube Studio, choose Create → Go Live → Manage → Schedule stream.
- Create the event. Start a new stream or reuse prior settings. Set the event details and schedule it for the intended time. You can share its watch-page URL in advance so viewers can visit the page and set reminders. YouTube notes, “Scheduling a stream lets you promote your stream.”
- Connect the encoder. In the encoder, enter the YouTube stream URL and stream key shown for the event. Confirm that the selected video source, audio, and encoder output are correct.
- Start the feed at the planned time. Start streaming from the encoder and wait for the preview in Live Control Room.
- Go live in YouTube. Once the preview is ready, click Go live in Live Control Room. Creating the scheduled page alone does not send video to viewers.
- End the event cleanly. When the program is over, stop the encoder feed and end the stream in YouTube.
Keep a 24/7 channel live
Use a persistent feed, not just a calendar entry
A continuous channel needs an encoder or automation that keeps supplying video, whether by looping a recording or moving through a playlist. Google’s Live Streaming API documentation models the broadcast and incoming stream as separate resources and discusses a 24/7 broadcast. This is the more technical path for building or managing continuous operation; ordinary Studio scheduling remains the accessible option for separate events.

Plan for monitoring, recovery, and archive handling
- Check the live preview and audio after launch, and periodically verify that the feed is still playing as intended.
- Decide who will respond to a dropped feed, encoder failure, or network interruption, and document how to restart it.
- YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That does not establish that an uninterrupted stream longer than 12 hours will be saved as one complete replay. If a replay matters, keep a separate recording or archive strategy, or consider planned segments under the stated threshold.
- YouTube’s current help page lists a limit of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. This can matter when operating backup feeds or multiple language or temple streams; check the page again before launch because platform limits can change.

Costs and equipment to consider
The Studio workflow requires an encoder capable of sending the prepared video and audio; the cited YouTube instructions do not establish a specific hardware purchase as necessary for every setup. A dedicated hardware encoder may suit an operator building a permanent setup, but no particular model is recommended here. A continuous workflow also carries the practical cost of maintaining the encoder or automation and arranging monitoring and recovery.
