These controls repeat playback but do not guarantee that a device or connection will stay available around the clock.
If you mean broadcasting Tamil songs as a public 24/7 YouTube live stream, that is different: you need the necessary rights to broadcast the recordings, and YouTube may interrupt a stream that matches third-party content. A playlist—or a tool that loops videos—does not provide music rights.
Loop a Tamil songs playlist for personal listening
YouTube’s built-in repeat controls are the simplest way to keep a playlist playing on a supported device. The interface can vary by device and version, so use the steps for the screen you have.
On a computer
- Open a video that belongs to the Tamil songs playlist.
- Expand the playlist panel if it is collapsed.
- Select the Loop control in the playlist panel. YouTube’s playlist instructions cover this playback control.
On Android
- Open and play the playlist in the YouTube app.
- Tap Loop in the playlist control box. The repeat control can also be switched to repeat only the current video; check the icon state if the whole playlist is not repeating.
On a TV or game console
- Select and start the playlist.
- Open the playback controls and set Repeat to Playlist.
Looping tells YouTube what to play next; it does not ensure continuous playback if the device shuts down, the network fails, or a song becomes unavailable.

Personal playback is not a public 24/7 live broadcast
A playlist repeating on your screen is playback for you. A public live stream is a broadcast to viewers, and making commercial recordings available that way carries a separate rights requirement. Under YouTube’s terms, the person providing live content represents that they have the necessary rights to use it on Google services, including relevant music rights from artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants.
Do not assume that a song’s presence on YouTube, a “free” label, attribution, or purchasing a copy permits public rebroadcast. YouTube notes that a written description saying music is free does not prevent a Content ID match and advises checking the applicable license. Sound recordings and musical compositions can be copyrighted works; permission, a valid license, public-domain status, or an applicable legal exception may be relevant, and exceptions and license terms vary by jurisdiction. What can happen when you broadcast music live
YouTube states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If a match is detected, YouTube may replace the live stream with a placeholder. If the third-party content remains, the stream may be temporarily interrupted or terminated; a copyright strike can also lead to termination. The current guidance is in Copyright issues with live streams.
If you have licensed the music, that alone may not prevent an automated interruption. YouTube says to ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Without that allowlisting, a licensed stream may still be interrupted.

A Content ID claim is not the same as a takedown or copyright strike. A claim can block, monetize, or track content, and its effect may vary by geography. Claims can affect a stream or its archived recording; see YouTube’s Content ID claim guidance.
Why Creator Music is not a shortcut for a live song stream
YouTube’s Creator Music options vary by track, and its described licensing and revenue-sharing choices apply to long-form videos, not live streams. YouTube’s help page says Creator Music is available to U.S. YouTube Partner Program creators, with expansion beyond the U.S. pending; availability and terms may change. Check Creator Music usage details for current conditions, but do not treat it as permission for a 24/7 live broadcast.
