To keep a Hanuman bhajan stream live around the clock, enable live streaming on your YouTube channel, clear the rights to every song and recording, then send a continuous feed through encoder software on a computer or a cloud service. A live performance and a loop of prerecorded bhajans are different workflows, but both need rights clearance, a stable feed, monitoring, and a plan for recordings that run longer than YouTube’s stated automatic-archive window.
1. Prepare the YouTube channel before you build the stream
Use a verified YouTube channel and check that it has no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. If this is your first live stream, enable the feature early: YouTube says initial activation can take up to 24 hours. See YouTube’s live-stream eligibility guidance and encoder setup instructions.
Once live streaming is available, open YouTube Studio and use Live Control Room to create or schedule the broadcast. Choose the encoder stream option. YouTube provides a stream URL and a stream key; the encoder uses these to send the feed to your channel. Treat the key like a password: do not show it on screen or share it publicly. If it is exposed, replace it in Studio and update the encoder.
2. Choose live performance or a prerecorded playlist
Live performance
For singers and musicians performing in real time, connect microphones and instruments to an audio interface or mixer, then route the finished audio and a camera or other visual feed into encoder software. Check the mix, camera framing, and room noise before going live. YouTube’s encoder guidance lists OBS as free streaming software; the encoder runs on a computer.

Prerecorded bhajans
If you want a continuous program of recordings, prepare a playlist or looping sequence in a computer-based encoder or a cloud service built for continuous prerecorded streams. YouTube’s encoder information names Gyre as an example of a cloud-based 24/7 prerecorded-video service, not as an endorsement. A playlist can create a steady devotional program, but it does not make the underlying recordings yours or grant permission to stream them.
In either workflow, arrange a person to check the Live Control Room and the public watch page. “24/7” describes the intended schedule, not a guarantee that no one needs to monitor the channel.
3. Clear rights for every song and recording
YouTube places responsibility on the creator to have the necessary rights for live content, including music licensing rights. “Traditional,” “devotional,” or freely available online does not by itself establish that a particular recording is cleared. Rights may differ among the composition, arrangement, performance, and sound recording; the answer depends on the specific material and applicable jurisdiction.

If a rights holder has licensed content for your channel, ask whether your channel must be added to that owner’s Content ID allowlist before the broadcast. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content matches and may show a placeholder, issue a warning, interrupt, or terminate a stream. YouTube Help cautions: “If your channel isn’t added to their allowlist, your live stream can be interrupted even if you’ve licensed the content.” Read YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance and keep proof of permissions and any allowlisting confirmation.
4. Set the encoder output to match your connection
Choose a resolution and frame rate that suit the source material and the available upload bandwidth. YouTube’s recommended H.264 examples are 6 Mbps for 720p at 30 fps and 10 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps; these are not universal settings for every codec, resolution, or frame rate. Check the current YouTube encoder bitrate and resolution table for the output you select.
- Protocol: Use RTMP or RTMPS as supported by the encoder and YouTube setup.
- Rate control: Use constant bitrate (CBR) where supported by the chosen YouTube configuration.
- Keyframes: Set a two-second keyframe interval, YouTube’s general recommendation.
- Audio: Use AAC or MP3 as supported by the encoder configuration. Listen to the output for clipping, silence, excessive noise, and left-right imbalance.
- Upload capacity: Test sustained upload speed, not just a brief peak. YouTube recommends about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom above the stream bitrate. If you configure primary and backup ingestion, allow bandwidth for both streams plus that margin.
For exact codec-specific values and current guidance, use YouTube’s encoder settings and streaming tips. A busy household or office connection can fluctuate; avoid scheduling a long broadcast until the connection has been tested under realistic conditions.

5. Connect, preview, and start the broadcast
- Create the broadcast: In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room, create or schedule a live stream, and select the encoder workflow.
- Connect the encoder: Copy the stream URL and key from Studio into the corresponding encoder fields. Keep the key private.
- Configure and test: Set the output format and bitrate, then run a test before the scheduled broadcast. Verify the bhajan audio is audible and synchronized, the image is stable, and the stream health indicator shows no persistent issue.
- Preview the watch page: Confirm the stream can be watched on both a phone and a computer. Check title, description, thumbnail, and visibility before starting publicly.
- Monitor after launch: Watch Live Control Room for stream-health warnings and listen to the public feed. Have someone available to respond if audio stops, the encoder disconnects, or YouTube reports a copyright match.
YouTube recommends testing and monitoring rather than assuming that a successful connection means the whole program is healthy. Its streaming tips cover preparation and stream health.
6. Plan for interruptions and the archive
A local encoder depends on the computer, encoder process, power, and internet connection remaining available. If any of those fail, the feed can stop until the issue is fixed. A cloud service can remove the need to leave a computer running at home, but compare the service’s own terms and recovery behavior; YouTube’s help pages do not establish comparative uptime, cost, or reliability for particular providers.
YouTube’s encoder setup guide says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A single 24-hour broadcast exceeds that stated duration, so do not rely on one complete automatic replay. 8. Troubleshoot common problems
- Live streaming is not available: Verify the channel and check Studio for restrictions. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours; enable it ahead of the planned broadcast.
- Encoder will not connect: Confirm you selected the encoder stream in Live Control Room and copied the current stream URL and key correctly. If the key may have been exposed, reset it and replace the encoder’s saved key.
- Buffering or unstable stream health: Reduce output bitrate or resolution, test the connection again, and leave the recommended bandwidth headroom. Check whether other devices or uploads are consuming the connection.
- Audio is silent, distorted, or out of sync: Check the encoder’s audio source, interface or mixer routing, levels, and selected audio codec. Verify the public preview rather than relying only on encoder meters.
- Copyright warning, placeholder, or interruption: Stop and identify the matched material in Studio. Confirm rights for the recording and any required Content ID allowlisting with the rights holder before restarting.
- The stream stops when nobody is home: A local computer or connection may have failed. For local streaming, check power, sleep settings, encoder logs, and internet stability; for a cloud setup, check the provider’s recovery status and reconnect instructions.
- The replay is incomplete or missing: Do not expect one automatically archived replay to cover a stream of 12 hours or more. Keep a separate recording or schedule shorter sessions and verify the archive in Studio.
