Found does not have a confirmed Season 3. NBC canceled the series after two seasons, and reporting says an effort to find another buyer did not result in a new home. There is no substantiated Season 3 order, production, or premiere date.
Will there be a Found Season 3?
There is no confirmed Season 3. TVLine reported that NBC canceled Found after two seasons and that the series was offered to other buyers, but none ultimately took it. That describes the reported outcome at the time; it does not rule out a future revival, but no revival has been substantiated. TVLine’s cancellation report and What’s on Netflix’s report on the proposed move describe the search for another home.
Netflix streaming the existing seasons is a licensing arrangement, not evidence that it ordered new episodes. No Season 3 release date is supported by the available reporting, so dates circulating without a confirmed order should be treated as speculation.
Is Found canceled?
Yes. NBC canceled the drama after Season 2, according to reporting from TVLine and TV Insider. The show’s presence on streaming services does not change that status: their listings cover the two existing seasons.

Why was Found canceled?
The cited reports confirm the cancellation, but they do not establish an official NBC explanation. It would be misleading to present ratings, production costs, or Netflix’s later licensing of the existing episodes as the definitive reason. A reported audience figure alone does not show what drove the network’s decision.
What happened in the Season 2 finale?
Spoilers for the finale: TV Insider reported that Sir is left seriously injured and his fate uncertain. Gabi also publicly confesses that she kept him in her basement after he kidnapped her as a child. Those unresolved threads explain why viewers may want another season, but a cliffhanger is not proof that one was commissioned. See TV Insider’s cancellation and finale coverage and its report on Sir’s fate and Gabi’s confession.
