The 151st Kentucky Derby brought entertainment figures, athletes, influencers and Kentucky public officials to Churchill Downs in Louisville on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The Lexington Herald-Leader’s red-carpet report and photo gallery identify a selection of attendees; they do not establish a complete guest list.

The Lexington Herald-Leader’s red-carpet report is the most direct source for celebrity arrivals and identifications. Its Derby Day photo gallery includes a section titled “Derby Day celebrities,” with captions identifying people pictured at Churchill Downs.

The Herald-Leader also published an attendee-fashion gallery documenting outfits and hats. Churchill Downs announced an official style guide for the 151st Derby on April 2, 2025. These are useful starting points for seeing the event’s dress and headwear, but a general fashion reference should not be taken to mean a pictured attendee wore a particular item.
