Cosmetics announced a Roblox shopping test on July 1, 2024: eligible U.S. visitors aged 13 and older could buy a small selection of physical products at a kiosk inside the e.l.f. UP! experience. The announcement confirms the launch, but not that the kiosk, its inventory, or its checkout is still active in October 2026. This was never a general e.l.f. store across Roblox, and the later launch of digital avatar makeup is a separate offer.
What the Roblox shop offered
The July 2024 selection paired branded apparel and beauty products with Roblox avatar items. e.l.f. described the hoodie as a Roblox-exclusive, limited-edition physical product; the other named products were a lip balm, lip oils, and sunscreen. The list was curated, not the full e.l.f. Cosmetics catalog. e.l.f.’s announcement named these items:
- e.l.f. UP! Pets Hoodie, featuring a virtual pet from the experience.
- Squeeze Me Lip Balm.
- Glow Reviver Lip Oils.
- Suntouchable Whoa Glow SPF 30.
How physical purchases worked
Customers began in Roblox, at a virtual shopping kiosk within e.l.f. UP!—not in the general Roblox Marketplace. The experience had launched in November 2023. The 2024 announcement called the checkout a test of real-world commerce powered by Walmart: users selected a listed product and completed a purchase for a physical good intended to be delivered outside the game. It was not simply a Robux purchase of a digital accessory.
The announcement does not document every checkout screen or state current shipping charges, delivery estimates, returns, or payment details. Nor does it establish that the original kiosk or products remain available now. If you want to shop, check the live e.l.f. UP! experience for a working kiosk and read its current checkout terms before paying. For ordinary e.l.f. retail products, the company’s consumer site is e.l.f.’s official store; that is not evidence that the Roblox promotion remains live.

Who could use the original offer
At launch, e.l.f. said the kiosk was for U.S. visitors aged 13 and older and could be accessed on mobile and desktop. That is not a promise of access for every Roblox user: location, age, account controls, state rules, platform availability, and stock can matter.
Roblox’s later commerce announcement specified that its initial physical-commerce availability was for U.S. users aged 13 and older, with requirements varying by state; it said Texas required users to be 18 or older for commerce. Those broader platform rules do not verify the current terms of the e.l.f. kiosk. Parents should treat an in-game physical checkout as real-money shopping, distinct from spending Robux, and review account permissions and the seller’s shipping and return terms.

What “virtual twin” meant
Eligible purchases came with a corresponding digital item for a Roblox avatar. e.l.f. gave examples including a “Squeeze Me Grape Hairstyle” with the lip balm, “Lip Oil Wings” with the lip oils, and “Beach Bandau” with the SPF product. The hoodie also had an associated avatar item. These were virtual bonuses, not physical duplicates or evidence that the items were free without a qualifying purchase.
The announcement does not set out a complete redemption, expiration, or replacement policy. If a live offer is presented, check its terms to see which purchase qualifies and how the avatar item is claimed.

What changed after the 2024 test
Roblox added broader commerce tools
On May 15, 2025, Roblox announced Commerce APIs for eligible brands and creators to sell physical products inside experiences, initially through Shopify and for U.S. users aged 13 and older. The announcement also described an Approved Merchandiser Program that could connect off-platform purchases with digital Roblox items. This was a wider platform development, not confirmation that e.l.f.’s earlier kiosk stayed open. Roblox’s Commerce APIs announcement describes the program and its qualifications.
e.l.f. launched a virtual beauty experience
e.l.f. announced Glow Up! on Roblox on December 18, 2025, describing it as a makeup-focused game and beauty experience for players aged 13 and older. It centers on virtual looks, customization, and themed challenges; it is not proof of a physical-product checkout. See e.l.f.’s launch announcement.

Roblox introduced a Makeup category
On March 31, 2026, Roblox announced a dedicated avatar Makeup category with more than 100 launch items. It supports mix-and-match makeup for areas including eyes, face, lips, eyelashes, and eyebrows, as well as full-face looks. Roblox identified e.l.f. as the title brand sponsor and a founding launch partner; its digital activity includes looks inspired by e.l.f. products and virtual try-on in brand experiences. That means users can engage with e.l.f.-inspired digital makeup, not that they are testing cosmetics on their real faces or buying physical products. Read Roblox’s Makeup category announcement and e.l.f.’s partnership announcement.

What to check before trying to buy
- Look for an active kiosk inside e.l.f. UP!; the July 2024 announcement alone does not establish current availability.
- Confirm that your location and account meet the age and other eligibility rules shown at checkout.
- Check current stock, total cost, shipping, returns, and customer-service responsibility before placing an order; the historical announcement does not supply those current terms.
- Verify whether a virtual twin is included, how it is redeemed, and whether the offer has an expiration date.
- If you only want avatar makeup, use the Roblox Makeup category or relevant e.l.f. experiences and check the item’s own price and purchase terms. That digital route does not mean a physical item will be shipped.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
