The Raney family does not all live together on one property. In a July 2026 interview, Marty Raney said his son Miles lives on the family’s 40-acre off-grid homestead in Alaska, Matt is building a house there, and daughter Misty lives with her husband Maciah and son Gauge. Marty also said daughter Melanee runs a business in Girdwood and had not committed to moving to the property.
Where each member of the Raney family lives
The clearest recent account comes from Marty himself, speaking to TV Insider in July 2026. His comments describe different arrangements rather than one shared family residence:

- Miles Raney: Marty said his older son lives on the family’s 40-acre homestead in Alaska.
- Matt Raney: Marty said Matt is building a house on the same property; the interview does not say that he has moved in.
- Misty Raney Bilodeau: Marty said Misty lives with her husband, Maciah, and their son, Gauge.
- Melanee Raney: Marty said she runs a business in Girdwood and had not committed to moving to the family property.
These household details are Marty’s account, not independently verified property records. The interview describes the homestead as off-grid and separated from road access by a river, but does not give a street address or a more precise public location. Does Misty still split her time between Alaska and Hawaii?
Older TV Insider coverage reported that Misty, Maciah, and Gauge spent summers in Alaska and winters in Hawaii. That seasonal arrangement is an older report, not a schedule confirmed in Marty’s July 2026 interview. The newer interview says Misty lives with her husband and son but does not specify where they are based year-round or whether they still divide time between the two states. Discovery’s official profile describes Misty as a farmer, homestead builder, and carpenter, and notes her participation in the family’s summer hunt. It does not identify her current residence or confirm the Alaska-Hawaii pattern. Discovery’s Misty Raney Bilodeau profile

Homestead Rescue features the Raneys helping people build or improve homesteads. The recent location details above concern Marty’s family, not every person who has appeared on the series. The available account supports broad descriptions—Alaska, the family property, and Girdwood—but not precise home addresses.
