Xenia Prinzessin von Sachsen appeared on the cover of Playboy Germany’s March 2024 issue, released to German kiosks on 8 February 2024, according to RTL. Contemporary reports described her as the first princess or aristocrat to pose for the magazine, although no comprehensive history of every Playboy edition establishes that as an all-time record.
Which German princess appeared in Playboy?
The cover subject was Xenia Prinzessin von Sachsen, also identified in international coverage as Xenia Florence Gabriela Sophie Iris of Saxony. RTL and Blick reported the announcement on 7 February 2024, when they described her as 37. Playboy Germany’s own cover-star page confirms her association with the March 2024 edition: Reality-TV-Star Xenia Prinzessin von Sachsen ist Playboy-Coverstar.

Which issue featured Xenia?
The appearance was in Playboy Germany’s March 2024 issue. RTL said the issue was scheduled for kiosk release on 8 February 2024; that historical date does not establish current stock or availability. Blick’s cover caption credits photographer Ana Dias.
Was she really Playboy’s first aristocrat?
News coverage used that distinction, with Hindustan Times headlining Xenia as the “first aristocrat” on a Playboy cover. RTL and Blick likewise framed the shoot as a first for a princess or aristocrat. The careful wording is “reported as the first”: the available reports do not provide a complete audit of all Playboy editions or a single agreed definition of aristocrat.

Why did Xenia pose?
In comments relayed by RTL from her interview with the magazine, Xenia said she had faced remarks in reality-television settings about her unaltered body and had nearly accepted pressure to change it. She presented the photographs as a statement about body acceptance, saying she wanted to show “dass jede Frau schön ist” (“that every woman is beautiful”) and that women do not need to follow appearance trends or have surgery.
That is Xenia’s stated motivation, not medical advice or evidence that a photo shoot produces a health outcome. Blick reported the same broad message of self-acceptance.

Her aristocratic identity and television background
RTL and Blick described a tension between her public aristocratic identity and the expectations attached to it. RTL reported Xenia’s observation that people imagine a princess as wealthy, waited on by staff and conventionally decorous; it also relayed her comment that she takes part in charity events. These are her reported views and claims, not an independently verified account of her finances or formal duties.
RTL listed her reality-television appearances as including Die Burg (2005), Das Sommerhaus der Stars (2016) and Kampf der Realitystars (2021). In another excerpt quoted by RTL, she said: “Meine Freunde sagen auch öfter, dass bei mir die Aristokratin durchkommt.” (“My friends also often say that the aristocrat in me comes through.”)

What the cover does—and does not—prove
- It confirms a March 2024 Playboy Germany cover appearance by Xenia Prinzessin von Sachsen.
- It documents her own body-image message about resisting pressure to alter herself.
- It does not, by itself, verify an all-time record for every aristocrat who has appeared in any Playboy edition.
- The original kiosk date was 8 February 2024; present-day availability of that physical issue has not been established by these sources.
