YouTube is no longer just a home for anonymous creators. Major actors and entertainment personalities use it for vlogs, comedy, interviews, fitness, travel, gaming, lifestyle material and film promotion.
“Own channel” here means an official celebrity-led or celebrity-associated channel—not necessarily one the star personally films or edits. “A-list” is used broadly: the list combines major movie stars with highly recognizable television, comedy and digital-media figures. Channel activity can change, so check the latest upload and the celebrity’s verified links before subscribing.
How to read this list
Included channels meet most of these tests: an identifiable official association, original celebrity-led programming, and a recognizable public figure at the center. A production-company or brand channel is identified as such. Studio trailers, fan accounts, music-label pages and repost-only channels are not treated as personal YouTube channels.

A verification listing identifies the official account as @WillSmith and dates its creation to December 2017. Subscriber totals from third-party trackers fluctuate, so they should not be treated as permanent figures. See NotCommon’s account verification and Feedspot’s celebrity-channel directory.
Best for
Fans who want adventure, conversation and a more direct extension of Smith’s public persona than a conventional press channel.
2. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
What you will find
Johnson’s YouTube presence sits inside a larger entertainment and business operation: fitness and Project Rock material, interviews, fan-facing videos, collaborations and scripted or branded programming.
The 2016 launch announcement described Seven Bucks Digital Studios as combining Johnson’s videos with Seven Bucks Productions projects, creator collaborations and scripted content. That means not every upload on a Seven Bucks-associated channel should be described as a personal video made by Johnson. Read TheWrap’s launch report for the channel model; Backstage also lists his YouTube work.

3. Ryan Reynolds
What you will find
Reynolds’ channel is less a private diary than an extension of his comedy and advertising voice. Expect film and project promotion, short comedic pieces, brand campaigns, behind-the-scenes material and promotional stunts.
Rank #2
Coverage from Diario Libre describes that blend of humor and promotion, while The Standard discusses his online style.
Best for
Viewers who prefer scripted wit, irreverent marketing and movie-related entertainment to unscripted daily vlogging.
4. Jack Black
What you will find
Black’s channel feels closer to a creator channel than a studio press feed, with gaming, food, comedy, informal home-studio videos and music or performance-related material.
Backstage characterizes the channel around “games, food, and life” and reports that videos were shot and edited by his son Sammy Black. Confirm the current channel name and upload pattern before subscribing.
Best for
Personality-first videos that show Black’s comic energy outside a film set.
5. Jason Momoa
What you will find
Momoa’s associated YouTube presence has been described as a window into travel, outdoor experiences, role preparation, personal projects and selected lifestyle material.

Best for
Outdoor interests, physical preparation and a less formal view of Momoa’s working life.
6. Kevin Hart
What you will find
Hart’s digital output spans comedy, celebrity interviews, fitness, entrepreneurial projects and clips connected to Hart-led shows or podcasts.
This is a category where channel names can mislead: Hart has personal, Hartbeat and show-related properties. Use only the account that is linked from Hart’s verified website or social profiles, and label a Hartbeat or program page as a company or show channel rather than a private vlog.

7. Shay Mitchell

Tubics’ channel analysis lists those categories. Mitchell is best understood here as a recognizable actor and digital creator rather than a conventional blockbuster-only movie star.
Best for
Beauty, travel and lifestyle programming with an actor’s access behind the scenes.
8. Madelaine Petsch
What you will find
Petsch represents the actor-creator model: behind-the-scenes vlogs, recipes, skincare, day-in-the-life material and promotion of acting projects share the same channel.
Backstage describes that mix and her direct connection with fans. She is a prominent television and film actor, although “A-list” is a broad label rather than an objective ranking.
Best for
Viewers who want lifestyle content alongside an actor’s working-world updates.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.9. Felicia Day
What you will find
Day’s online identity predates the current celebrity-channel boom. Her YouTube-related work connects with gaming, science-fiction and fantasy fandom, community interaction, personal commentary and material associated with her Twitch streams.
Best Value
Backstage identifies that relationship with her Twitch content. She is included as an entertainment-industry veteran who helped bridge Hollywood fandom and creator culture, not as a conventional A-list movie star.
Best for
Gaming, genre fandom and community-oriented digital entertainment.
10. Noah Schnapp
What you will find
The Stranger Things actor has used YouTube for vlogs, fan questions, challenges and personal updates, giving viewers a more direct format than a standard cast interview.
Backstage describes those formats. Schnapp is a widely recognized young actor, but calling him “A-list Hollywood” depends on using the broad definition established above.

How to avoid fake or misleading celebrity channels
- Look for a verification badge where applicable and compare the channel’s branding with the celebrity’s verified accounts.
- Check whether the celebrity’s official website or verified social profile links to the YouTube page.
- Read the channel’s About text for production-company or management references.
- Inspect recent uploads: original appearances and coherent branding are stronger evidence than a celebrity’s name in the title.
- Separate personal, production-company, promotional and official artist channels before deciding what to subscribe to.
Third-party verification guidance notes that inconsistent account details can help impersonators look legitimate; see NotCommon’s verification page for an example.
What “own channel” does—and does not—promise
An official association does not mean the star personally writes, films, edits and uploads every video. A channel may be run by assistants, editors, a social team, a family member, a production company or a brand. Promotional videos are not automatically disqualified if they add the celebrity’s humor, access or original context beyond a normal studio press kit.
The Bottom Line
The best celebrity YouTube channels are not interchangeable: Smith and Black lean personality-first, Johnson’s is tied to a production ecosystem, Reynolds turns promotion into comedy, and Day, Petsch and Schnapp offer creator-style fan access. Verify the account and its recent activity before treating any channel as a current personal feed.
