Spotify Wrapped 2025 launched on December 3, 2025. The mobile experience was available to Free and Premium listeners in nearly all Spotify markets, subject to account and feature eligibility. It covered listening from January 1 through mid-November 2025—not the complete calendar year—and added social competitions, quizzes, rankings, listening-style groups and an AI-powered archive alongside the familiar recap cards.

How to access Spotify Wrapped 2025
- Update Spotify on your iPhone or Android phone.
- Open the Home tab and look for the Wrapped feed.
- If it is not visible, use Spotify search for “2025 Wrapped”.
- Open the Wrapped hub to revisit available stories, playlists and creator messages.
- For the group experience, search the mobile app for “Wrapped Party” or open it at the end of your personalized recap.
Spotify presents the personalized experience through its mobile apps; it does not promise that every interactive story works on desktop or the web. Wrapped Party is explicitly mobile-only. Spotify’s support page notes that Wrapped and individual features can be limited by eligibility: Spotify support.

Wrapped Party in detail
A host can invite one to nine other friends with a link or code. Hosts can rename the party, change their profile image, choose when it starts, react with emojis and transfer hosting. Awards can include the most minutes, rarest listen, most new artists discovered or the strongest obsession with a top artist. The award mix changes with group size and listening behavior.
The party is not permanently saved after you leave, although Spotify says participants can rewatch it while it remains available. Anyone joining should assume that listening information and the profile image shown in the party can be viewed and shared by the other participants. Returning Wrapped staples
The 2025 recap still included minutes listened, top songs, top artists, top genres, top podcasts, artist thank-you clips, share cards and the personalized Your Top Songs 2025 playlist. Spotify also highlighted several expanded formats:
- Top Albums as a dedicated category.
- Top Audiobook Genre and the most-listened book in that genre.
- Author Clips from authors associated with favorite audiobooks.
- Podcaster Clips from selected podcast creators.
- Top Artist Sprint, showing month-by-month movement in the top-five artist ranking.
- Share cards for top songs that included stream counts for the user’s top 100 tracks.
- Playback-speed controls and navigation that let listeners revisit parts of the story without restarting.
Why your Wrapped results may not match your own tracking

The measurement window ended in mid-November
The 2025 data window ran from January 1 to about mid-November. Spotify stops collecting the period early so it can check the data and prepare the experience for the December launch. A full-year tracker can therefore produce different totals and rankings.
Different cards use different formulas
- A song counts as a listen after it plays for more than 30 seconds. A three-minute track and a 10-minute track each count as one listen for Top Songs.
- Top Artists use weighted stream counts, giving primary artists more weight than secondary or featured artists.
- Top Albums use a separate approach that considers whether you played most of an album’s tracks and the number and distribution of those streams.
- Fan Leaderboard uses total minutes listened, so it should not be compared directly with a Top Artist position.
Some listening is intentionally excluded or reassigned
Private Mode listening and tracks or playlists excluded from your Taste Profile do not shape taste-based stories. Spotify also filters some non-music material, such as white noise and nature sounds, when trying to represent musical taste. Listening on a shared speaker, smart speaker or household device can still put another person’s plays into your account’s results.

Eligibility and missing-feature troubleshooting
General Wrapped requirements
Spotify says a listener generally needs at least 30 valid streams across at least five different artists. A valid stream is generally a track played for more than 30 seconds. Free and Premium accounts could receive Wrapped in nearly all Spotify markets, so Premium was not required.
Wrapped Party requirements
Wrapped Party was for people aged 13 or older in Wrapped-eligible markets. Its availability was separate from general Wrapped eligibility, and Spotify could withhold individual stories or features from particular accounts.

If the feed does not appear
- Confirm that the mobile Spotify app is up to date.
- Return to Home and look for the Wrapped feed.
- Search for “2025 Wrapped”; for the group feature, search “Wrapped Party”.
- Check whether the account met the stream and artist thresholds.
- Check market, language and account availability. Listening Archive, leaderboard stories and social features can have narrower eligibility.
- Use the mobile app, especially for Wrapped Party, rather than relying on desktop access.
Refreshing Home and updating the app were also reported as practical steps by TechRadar’s launch coverage, but Spotify does not guarantee that those actions will make an unavailable story appear.

Wrapped 2025 moved beyond a slideshow of personal statistics. Quizzes, Clubs and Listening Age made the recap more interactive; Fan Leaderboard and Wrapped Party made it comparative; and Listening Archive added a limited AI-generated format. The underlying numbers still depend on a partial-year window, account settings, shared-device behavior and metric-specific formulas. Treat each card as the result of the method Spotify assigns to that story, rather than as a single definitive measure of everything you listened to.
