Yes—FanDuel Sports Network can be added to Prime Video in eligible markets, but it is not included with Amazon Prime. Your home ZIP code determines the regional package, which may carry local NBA, NHL and MLB games plus selected WNBA and PWHL coverage. FanDuel Sports Network launched as an Amazon Prime Video add-on on February 20, 2025, alongside its direct app and participating television providers.
Is FanDuel Sports Network included with Amazon Prime?
No. An Amazon Prime membership or a standard Prime Video subscription does not automatically include FanDuel Sports Network. It is a separate, paid add-on available through Prime Video only where your ZIP code is eligible.
The Associated Press reported a launch-era price of $19.99 per month in FanDuel Sports Network markets in 2025. Subscription prices and promotions can change, so check the amount shown at checkout before subscribing.
What sports and teams do you get?
FanDuel Sports Network is a regional service rather than one nationwide channel. Entering your home ZIP code determines the package and teams offered. Depending on the market and current rights agreements, the package can include:

How to add FanDuel Sports Network to Prime Video
- Open Prime Video. Use the Prime Video app or website while signed in to your Amazon account.
- Search for “FanDuel Sports Network.” You may also find it in the Amazon Channels or add-on-subscription area.
- Enter or confirm your home ZIP code. Amazon uses the ZIP code to determine whether the service and a particular regional package are available.
- Review the offer. Confirm the monthly, season-pass or annual option, the current price, included teams and any promotional terms.
- Subscribe and watch. After confirmation, open the FanDuel Sports Network channel inside Prime Video and select an available live event or replay.
Location verification can be required during sign-up and playback. Using a VPN, traveling outside the permitted area or changing your service address can prevent a game from appearing.

Prime Video, direct subscription or a TV provider?
All three routes can provide regional FanDuel Sports Network access, but they suit different viewing setups.
| Access route | Monthly cost | Existing pay-TV subscription required? | Local team coverage | Devices and streams | Cancellation or flexibility | Location and blackout rules |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Prime Video add-on | $19.99 per month was reported at the February 2025 launch; current price not stated and must be checked at checkout | No, but an Amazon account and eligible ZIP code are required | Regional package determined by home ZIP code | Prime Video-supported connected TVs, phones, tablets and web; up to two concurrent streams | Managed through Amazon; review the current billing and cancellation terms | Regional restrictions, location checks and blackouts may apply |
| Direct FanDuel Sports Network subscription | Monthly, season-pass and annual plans are offered; current prices vary and are not stated here | No, if the package is sold in your ZIP code | Regional package determined by home ZIP code | Connected TVs, phones, tablets and web; up to two concurrent streams | Plan choice can be monthly, seasonal or annual; check renewal terms | Regional restrictions, location checks and blackouts may apply |
| Participating cable, satellite or live-TV streaming provider | Depends on the provider’s package | Yes, you need a participating provider subscription | Depends on the provider’s local channel lineup | Provider equipment or app, plus the FanDuel app when supported | Governed by the provider’s contract and billing rules | Provider and FanDuel regional restrictions and blackouts may apply |
Can you watch without cable?
Yes. The Prime Video add-on and a direct FanDuel Sports Network subscription are both internet-based alternatives to cable or satellite, provided your ZIP code is eligible. You still need a reliable internet connection and a compatible device; replacing the television provider does not remove regional rights restrictions.

When Prime Video is the simplest option
- You already use Prime Video and want billing and playback in one app.
- Your household watches on a supported smart TV, streaming device, phone, tablet or browser.
- You want to avoid adding a separate television-provider contract.
When the direct app may be better
- You do not want the subscription tied to Amazon.
- You prefer a seasonal or annual FanDuel plan where that option fits your viewing schedule.
- You use the FanDuel app across devices and want its own account and billing management.
When a TV provider makes sense
- You already pay for a participating cable, satellite or live-TV streaming service.
- The provider includes the regional channel in a package you already need for other networks.
- You want the provider’s guide, DVR or household support features.
Blackouts, travel and ZIP-code checks
FanDuel Sports Network rights are local and contract-based. The service’s package page warns that regional restrictions, location checks and blackouts apply. Before paying, verify the specific team and competition listed for your home ZIP code rather than relying on a national sports schedule.
Availability while traveling can differ from availability at home. A game that is licensed for your home market may be blocked when the service cannot verify that you are inside the permitted region. Do not assume that a subscription provides every game played by a team in every location.

How many people can watch at once?
The FanDuel Sports Network package information allows up to two concurrent streams. That limit applies to the service package; device compatibility and any account restrictions shown during sign-up still control how your household can use it.
What happens if your team is not listed?
- Recheck the home ZIP code, including the address used for the subscription.
- Look at the package’s team and league list before completing payment.
- Check whether the event is subject to a regional blackout or a separate national-rights deal.
- Compare the direct subscription and participating-provider options; they may not offer identical rights in every market.
- If the listing changed unexpectedly, contact FanDuel Sports Network or Amazon support with the event, date and ZIP code.
The practical answer
For an eligible household, FanDuel Sports Network on Prime Video is a cable-free way to stream certain local NBA, NHL and MLB games, with selected WNBA and PWHL content. It costs extra beyond Amazon Prime, uses your home ZIP code to set the regional package and can be subject to location checks and blackouts. Confirm the current price and team list at checkout before choosing the Prime Video add-on, the direct FanDuel plan or a participating TV provider.
