The newspaper’s season account recalled Becker delivering restaurant supplies as a side business and bringing a puppy named Leroy into the house. Those details formed part of her time on the program, but her career later moved beyond television. Former housemate Joe Patane told the Los Angeles Times that Becker worked as a life coach and a licensed marriage and family therapist.

TMZ reported that the family member said Becker had moved to Illinois to care for family and planned to return to California. The same source described mental-health struggles and a skateboarding accident. These are family-attributed details in news reports, not independently established findings; the reports do not establish that the accident caused her death.
