As of September 28, 2026, Disney’s announced theatrical calendar runs from the 2025 releases that are now historical through a detailed 2026 slate and selected dates in 2027, 2028 and 2029. The schedule spans Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures, while some announcements do not identify a specific sub-label. Dates below reproduce Disney’s announced precision: a month-only date remains month-only, and re-releases are marked separately from new films.
Schedules can change, and regional calendars may differ. Disney’s 2027–2029 announcements are a selection of confirmed projects, not a complete annual calendar.

How to read this Disney release calendar
- Theatrical release: A film Disney announced for cinemas. The cited announcements do not establish a single worldwide or country-by-country schedule.
- Re-release: An older film returning to theaters, rather than a new installment.
- Precision: A date such as “March 2028” has no announced day; it should not be converted into one.
- Streaming: Hulu or other streaming projects are listed separately and are not theatrical entries.
The primary dates come from Disney’s seasonal theater announcements and its D23 showcase: fall 2026, spring 2026, summer 2026, winter 2025, D23 2026, Annecy 2026 and Destination D23.
2025 releases (now historical)
These dates belong to the requested 2025–2029 range, but they are past as of September 28, 2026. Disney’s winter announcement supplied the following theatrical dates.

Selected 2027 theatrical announcements

Selected 2029 theatrical announcement
| Date | Film | Banner or status |
|---|---|---|
| November 2029 | Coco 2 | Pixar; no specific day announced |
Coco 2 is one announced 2029 title, not a claim that Disney’s 2029 slate is otherwise complete.
Streaming projects that are not theatrical releases
Romy & Michele 2 is announced for Hulu in 2027. Because Disney identifies it as a streaming title, it does not belong in the theatrical calendar above. The cited announcement does not provide a Hulu premiere date.
