The New York Times Help Center describes Connections as a game in which players sort 16 words into four groups of four that share something in common. The clues below move from broad to specific, so stop when you have enough to solve a group.
- Yellow: A remark that wanders away from the main point.
- Green: Verbs meaning to bring about or provide a result.
- Blue: Informal words for an attractive person.
- Purple: Each word can be represented by the same letter.

How to replay this puzzle
The New York Times says its Connections archive reaches back to June 12, 2023, and is available to All Access and Games subscribers. Archive play can affect some statistics, but it does not count toward current or maximum streaks. The daily game releases at midnight in the player’s timezone; NYT lists the Games app, nytimes.com/games/connections, nytimes.com/theathletic, and the News app as places to play. Access terms can vary by platform.
