The expired promotion was available to U.S. residents who were at least 18 years old and applied to new and eligible returning subscribers. Existing Disney+, ESPN, Hulu, and bundle subscribers were excluded.
The offer also had several restrictions:
- The offer applied only to the ad-supported Disney+, Hulu Bundle.
- The offer could not be combined with a free trial, another promotional offer, other bundle pricing, or a gift card.
- Changing plans after redeeming the offer forfeited the promotional discount.
- The $9.99 rate applied for one month only.
Because the promotion has ended, these eligibility rules describe the historical offer rather than a currently available way to obtain the bundle at $9.99. Disney’s official terms and plan information should be checked for the rules attached to any replacement promotion.
What happened after the first $9.99 month?

Subscribers could cancel, but cancellation took effect at the end of the applicable billing period. The promotional terms said that partial-month refunds or credits were not provided. A subscriber who joined under the original offer would have needed to cancel before the next renewal date to avoid the regular charge, subject to the account’s billing terms.
Is the $9.99 deal still available?
No. Disney’s published terms state that the $9.99 promotion ended at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time on February 17, 2026. As of the August 2026 research update, the official current pricing page showed $12.99 per month for the ad-supported Disney+, Hulu Bundle.
A checkout page can show a different future promotion if Disney or Hulu launches one. Until a new offer is independently confirmed on an official signup page, phrases such as “Get Disney+ and Hulu for $9.99 now” and “$9.99 monthly bundle” are inaccurate.
How should the historical deal be compared with current pricing?
The useful distinction is between a temporary introductory rate and the ongoing bundle price. The following comparison separates the price paid during the historical offer from the price that followed it.

Can you use the bundle on an older television?
You need a supported television, phone, tablet, laptop, gaming console, or compatible streaming device to watch the services. The subscription does not include a television, HDMI cable, or streaming hardware.
For a television that lacks a convenient Disney+ or Hulu app, an Amazon Fire TV Stick HD is a current Fire TV streaming-stick model identified in Amazon’s device documentation. Amazon’s specifications describe the device as powered through the television’s USB port. Hardware availability, compatibility with a particular television, and retail pricing should be checked separately; the Fire TV Stick is not part of the Disney+, Hulu subscription deal.
Before buying a device, check that the television has an available HDMI input, the television’s USB port can supply the required power or an appropriate power adapter is available, and the home internet connection can support streaming. These setup requirements are separate from subscription eligibility and do not restore access to the expired $9.99 offer.
Can a gift card or subscription card be used for the bundle?
The historical $9.99 terms did not allow the promotion to be combined with a gift card. Disney’s help documentation also states that U.S. Disney+ subscription cards are no longer available and cannot be applied to the Disney+, Hulu Bundle, so buying a physical or digital subscription card is not a route to the expired price.
