The theatrical presentation was a past 2025 event called The Chosen: Last Supper. It divided the season into three cinema releases rather than showing all eight episodes at once.

1. Watch Season 5 free in The Chosen app
The official app is the simplest choice if you want to watch the complete season without paying for a separate streaming subscription. Download The Chosen app, create an account, and select Season 5. The app provides access to Seasons 1 through 5 as well as bonus content.

The app is available on common mobile, television, and streaming platforms, including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, and Android. Exact app availability and device requirements can change, so search for the official The Chosen app in your device’s authorized app store rather than downloading an unofficial copy.
What to expect from the free app
- An account is required, even though the seasons are available at no charge.
- The complete Season 5 story is available, rather than only the episodes that were previously shown in theaters.
- Bonus content is included alongside the episodes.
- The experience depends on an internet connection and supported device.
2. Stream Season 5 on Prime Video
Prime Video is the straightforward paid-streaming alternative. The official Season 5 information identifies Prime Video as a viewing option beginning June 15, and the current official watch guide lists the season as available there.
Do not assume that Prime Video access is free simply because the season is free in the official app. Prime Video availability, pricing, and whether the title is included with a particular membership can vary by country and can change over time. Check the Season 5 listing in your own Prime Video region before subscribing solely to watch this program.
3. Buy the Season 5 DVD or Blu-ray
Physical media is the most dependable choice for viewers who want to revisit the season without relying on a streaming catalog. It can also work well for church libraries, group discussions, collectors, and homes with inconsistent broadband.

- Brand New in box. The product ships with all relevant accessories
The official Season 5 release includes all eight episodes on three discs, English subtitles, and region-free playback. You can look for The Chosen Season 5 DVD or The Chosen Season 5 Blu-ray; check the live product description for the exact format, packaging, delivery options, and current price before purchasing.
The Blu-ray is the natural choice if your household has a Blu-ray player and prefers higher-definition physical video. The DVD is more broadly compatible with standard DVD equipment. Neither format requires an active streaming subscription after purchase, although you will need a compatible disc player.
Other Season 5 physical products
The official store also lists supplementary Season 5 products, including a Bible study guide, a 40-day devotional, a novel, a soundtrack CD, special-edition disc sets, and bundles. These are optional companion products—not prerequisites for understanding the television season—but they may suit viewers who want material for personal reflection, a church group, or a discussion after watching.
What was The Chosen: Last Supper?
The Chosen: Last Supper was the theatrical name used for Season 5 in the United States and Canada. Instead of releasing the season as one long movie, the theatrical version was split into three parts:
Rank #3
| Theatrical release | Episodes | U.S. and Canada start date |
|---|---|---|
| Part One | Episodes 1–2 | March 28, 2025 |
| Part Two | Episodes 3–5 | April 4, 2025 |
| Part Three | Episodes 6–8 | April 11, 2025 |
Each part remained in theaters for the rest of the theatrical run once it opened. Those dates are historical release dates, not upcoming 2026 showtimes. Unless a specific theater or official event listing announces a new screening, readers should use the app, Prime Video, or physical media instead of searching for ordinary Season 5 tickets.
Was the theatrical release the same in every country?
No. The U.S. and Canadian release was a three-part presentation of the complete season. International distribution followed a different plan: Part One was scheduled to roll out in more than 40 territories beginning April 10, 2025, while the remaining episodes were handled separately depending on the market.
That means viewers outside the United States and Canada should not assume that the three U.S. dates—or all eight episodes in theaters—applied to their country. For current local availability, check the official The Chosen channels, a local theater listing, and the streaming services available in your region.
What is Season 5 about?
Season 5 covers the period leading into the Passion narrative. Its story centers on Passover, Jesus’ arrival and welcome as king, the expectations of his disciples, and the political and religious leaders who want to make the meal his last. That is why the theatrical packaging used the title Last Supper.

- The Twilight Saga Complete Movies Series 5 movie collection Boxed DVD Set
The Chosen is an historical drama based on the life of Jesus Christ and told through the perspectives of people around him. It is not a word-for-word filmed reading of the Bible. The series uses Gospel stories as its foundation while condensing timelines, combining or changing some locations, and adding backstories, characters, and dialogue for dramatic storytelling.
Which viewing option should you choose?
- Choose the official app if your priority is watching the entire season free.
- Choose Prime Video if you already use it and Season 5 is available in your region.
- Choose DVD if compatibility, offline viewing, or a lower-cost standard-definition physical copy matters most.
- Choose Blu-ray if you own a Blu-ray player and want a high-definition physical release.
- Choose a study guide or devotional if you want discussion and reflection material after watching, particularly for a church or family group.
Can churches or groups still watch it together?
Yes, but the practical method has changed since the theatrical run. The 2025 release included group-ticket support and resources for churches and community organizations. With that theatrical event concluded, a group should use a lawful viewing method that fits its venue and equipment—such as the official app or an authorized physical copy—and confirm any applicable public-performance, screening, or platform terms before organizing a public event.
For a private household or small informal gathering, the app or disc set may be sufficient. For a church-wide or public screening, contact the rights holder or consult the relevant event guidance rather than assuming that an ordinary personal streaming account covers a public showing.
