How to rewatch the completed game
NFL+ Premium replay
NFL+ Premium is the most relevant official option to check for a replay of a completed game. NFL’s current product information describes full-game, condensed, and All-22 replays on supported devices. Replay availability, subscription terms, and the exact game library can change, so confirm that the Vikings-Seahawks game is listed before subscribing.
NFL+ Premium should not be confused with a universal live-TV replacement. NFL+’s live local regular-season and postseason game access is primarily intended for phones and tablets, and “local” means games that are available on television in your market. It does not mean that every Sunday-afternoon game is available live to every U.S. subscriber.
Official team and NFL video pages
The Vikings’ and Seahawks’ official sites may publish highlights, interviews, press conferences, and game-related video. Those clips are different from a complete game replay. Start with the official Vikings game center and the Seahawks’ Week 16 guide for legitimate coverage, then check the current NFL+ replay catalog for full-game access.

1. Local FOX broadcast
For a future Sunday-afternoon game assigned to your regional FOX station, the simplest option may be your local FOX affiliate. This can include an antenna, cable, satellite, or a live-TV streaming service that carries the station. The 2024 Vikings-Seahawks game was distributed according to FOX’s regional broadcast map, so not every U.S. market necessarily received the same game.
If you receive a reliable local FOX signal, an indoor TV antenna can be a practical cord-cutting accessory. It does not create access to NFL games by itself: you must be within range of a FOX affiliate, and reception depends on your location, terrain, building materials, interference, and antenna placement. Check local station coverage before buying and be prepared to try a different position near a window or higher on the wall.
2. FOX One for current FOX programming
For current coverage, FOX identifies FOX One as a direct streaming destination for live FOX programming, including regional Sunday NFL matchups. FOX lists web, mobile, and connected-TV support, including device families such as Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung smart TVs, Xbox, and mobile platforms. FOX has advertised plans beginning at $19.99 per month in the supplied current information, but pricing, regional availability, package details, and device support are changeable. Verify the offer immediately before signing up.
FOX One is a current-service option for future FOX programming; it was not a way to watch the already completed December 2024 game live.

3. NFL+ for restricted live viewing
NFL+ can be useful when the game is local or falls into one of the service’s eligible live categories, but it is not a general substitute for every Sunday broadcast. The current NFL+ description restricts live local regular-season and postseason games to supported mobile devices, with local-market rules applying. A television app, desktop browser, or out-of-market Sunday game may not qualify in the same way.
Before subscribing, check the service’s current terms for:
- Whether the game is local in your market;
- Whether the broadcast is available on your device;
- Whether the game is regular-season, postseason, or primetime programming; and
- Whether you want live viewing or a replay.
4. NFL Sunday Ticket for out-of-market Sunday games
For a future Sunday-afternoon game shown on FOX or CBS but unavailable on your local station, the relevant subscription category is NFL Sunday Ticket. The NFL identifies YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels as its U.S. distribution outlets for the package, which covers out-of-market Sunday regular-season games broadcast on FOX and CBS.
Sunday Ticket is generally unnecessary when your local FOX affiliate already carries the game. It is also not a universal package for every NFL broadcast window. Confirm the current season’s price, eligibility, game coverage, and any blackout or local-market rules before purchasing.

2026 schedule update: there is no Vikings-Seahawks Week 16 game
The title of this guide refers to the 2024 season, not the current 2026 schedule. As of the supplied schedule information dated August 12, 2026, Minnesota’s Week 16 opponent is Washington, not Seattle, and the date, kickoff time, and network were still to be determined.
The 2026 schedule also lists Minnesota’s Week 11 game at San Francisco in Mexico City. That is separate from the historical Seattle matchup. Do not rely on a search result that presents “Vikings vs. Seahawks Week 16” as an upcoming 2026 livestream unless a newly published official schedule says otherwise.
What not to use
Avoid websites advertising unauthorized “free NFL streams,” social-media rebroadcasts, or unofficial game mirrors. They may violate copyright, disappear without notice, expose viewers to deceptive downloads or aggressive advertising, and provide no dependable picture or sound quality. The legal services above are safer and more predictable, even when their market restrictions mean that one service does not work for every viewer.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Quick troubleshooting if an official stream will not play
- Confirm the rights first. Make sure the service actually carries the game in your market and on your device. A loading error cannot be fixed by changing browsers if the game is not included in your plan.
- Check the app and device. Update the streaming app and your TV, streaming stick, phone, or tablet. If the service supports a browser, try the provider’s current recommended browser.
- Restart the connection. Close the app, restart the device, and power-cycle the router if other services are also buffering.
- Test another supported device. This helps separate an account or rights issue from a device-specific problem.
- Check location permissions. Local-market services may use location information. A disabled location setting, VPN, or incorrect location can interfere with eligibility checks.
- Use the provider’s help center. Keep the error message, device model, app version, and subscription information available when contacting support.
An HDMI cable or a compatible streaming device such as a Roku, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire TV device can help connect a supported service to a television. These accessories do not supply broadcast rights, remove regional restrictions, or turn an unsupported service into a live NFL feed.
