The activation method depends on your device and subscription. Roku generally uses an in-app email-and-password sign-in. Amazon Fire TV/Fire Stick and Apple TV use a displayed code at tennischannel.com/activate. Cable customers should authenticate through their TV provider, while Amazon Prime Video subscribers should open Tennis Channel inside Prime Video instead of the standalone app.
Before you activate Tennis Channel
Have these three things ready:
- A Roku, Amazon Fire TV/Fire Stick, or compatible Apple TV connected to the internet.
- The official Tennis Channel app installed from your device’s app store.
- The correct type of account: a direct Tennis Channel account, a participating cable or TV-provider account, or a Tennis Channel subscription purchased through Amazon Prime Video.
The subscription route matters. A direct Tennis Channel subscription works with the standalone Tennis Channel app. Cable customers must use the TV-provider login. A Tennis Channel subscription purchased as an Amazon Prime Video Channel is watched inside Prime Video and does not unlock the standalone Tennis Channel app. See Tennis Channel’s current sign-in instructions before troubleshooting an activation code.
Activate Tennis Channel on Roku
1. Install Tennis Channel
- From the Roku Home screen, select Search.
- Search for Tennis Channel.
- Select the official app and choose Add App.
- Open the app after installation.
Tennis Channel lists Roku 2, Roku 3, Roku Streaming Stick models, Roku Express, Premiere, Ultra, and Roku TV families among its supported Roku devices. The exact compatibility list can change, so check the provider’s current device requirements if the app does not appear.
2. Sign in on Roku
- Launch the Tennis Channel app.
- In the lower-left area of the app, select My Account.
- Choose Sign In.
- Enter the email address and password for your active Tennis Channel account.
The current Roku instructions use an email-and-password sign-in. They do not tell Roku users to enter a displayed activation code. If your Roku app shows a different option, follow the option displayed on that screen; otherwise, do not use the Fire TV or Apple TV code procedure for Roku.

Activate Tennis Channel on Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick
1. Install the app
- From the Fire TV Home screen, select the Search icon.
- Search for Tennis Channel.
- Select the official app and choose Add App or Install.
- Open Tennis Channel when the installation finishes.
Tennis Channel identifies Amazon Fire TV as a supported platform and lists Fire OS 5.0 and later in its device requirements. If your television lacks a compatible streaming platform, a current Fire TV Stick can be a practical replacement, but verify the model and software requirements before buying.
2. Enter the activation code
- Open the Tennis Channel app on Fire TV.
- Select Sign In With A Code.
- Leave the activation-code screen visible on the television.
- On a phone, tablet, or computer, open tennischannel.com/activate.
- Type the code shown on the Fire TV screen.
- Complete sign-in with the credentials for your eligible Tennis Channel account.
The code links the Fire TV device to an account that already has the necessary access. It does not create a subscription or replace a subscription. If the code expires, return to the app, generate a new code, and enter it promptly.
Activate Tennis Channel on Apple TV
Check the Apple TV model first
The current Tennis Channel app is available on Apple TV HD, Apple TV fourth generation or later, and Apple TV 4K. It is not available on second- or third-generation Apple TV models because those devices do not have the App Store required by the current app. Tennis Channel explains this limitation in its Apple TV compatibility guide.
If you have an unsupported older Apple TV, the realistic options are to watch through another supported device or replace it with a supported model such as an Apple TV 4K. Confirm current compatibility and availability before purchasing.
Install and activate the app
- Open the Apple TV Home screen.
- Launch the App Store.
- Search for Tennis Channel.
- Select the app and choose Get.
- Open Tennis Channel after it installs.
- Select Sign In With A Code.
- On another device, visit tennischannel.com/activate.
- Enter the code displayed by the Apple TV app.
- Finish signing in with the email address and password for your Tennis Channel account.
Which login should you use?
Direct Tennis Channel subscription
Use the Tennis Channel account email address and password. On Fire TV and Apple TV, the app may first show a code; enter that code at the activation page and then sign in. On Roku, use My Account > Sign In and enter the credentials on the device.

Cable or TV-provider access
If Tennis Channel is included with your cable, satellite, or other participating TV provider, do not purchase a second direct subscription just to activate the app. Select the TV-provider sign-in option, choose your provider, and authenticate with the provider’s username and password. Tennis Channel’s provider-login instructions explain this route.
If your provider is not listed, Tennis Channel advises contacting the provider and asking whether it supports the network. A provider that carries Tennis Channel on television may still need to be included in the app’s supported-provider list.
Amazon Prime Video Channel subscription
A Tennis Channel add-on purchased through Amazon Prime Video is separate from a direct Tennis Channel subscription. Open the Prime Video app, find Tennis Channel through Prime Video Channels, and watch it there. Do not enter the Prime Video subscription into the standalone Tennis Channel app at tennischannel.com/activate; Tennis Channel says Prime Video subscriptions are not compatible with the standalone apps. Conversely, a direct Tennis Channel-app subscription does not automatically appear as a Prime Video Channel.

Amazon’s billing and plan availability can change by location and date. Check the Prime Video listing before subscribing; do not assume that purchasing the add-on gives access to every Tennis Channel app.
Activation code not working? Try these fixes
- Check the account. Make sure the browser is signed in to the Tennis Channel account that owns the direct subscription or has the relevant entitlement.
- Generate a fresh code. Codes can expire. Return to the Fire TV or Apple TV app and request a new one, then enter it immediately.
- Use the right subscription path. Cable access requires the TV-provider login. Amazon Prime Video access requires the Prime Video app. Neither should be treated as a direct Tennis Channel-app subscription.
- Check the app and device. If the app is missing, confirm that the device model and operating system meet Tennis Channel’s requirements. Second- and third-generation Apple TV models cannot install the current app.
- Restart the setup. Close the app, restart the streaming device and router if necessary, then reopen Tennis Channel and try again.
- Update Roku. Roku apps usually update automatically. To check manually, go to Settings > System > Software Update or System Update > Check Now, depending on the Roku interface. Tennis Channel documents this in its Roku update instructions.
Missing app or unsupported device
First search the correct store: Roku Search, Fire TV Search, or the Apple TV App Store. If Tennis Channel is not returned, check the device family and operating-system version against Tennis Channel’s current requirements. Older hardware may be unable to install a current app even when a newer version of the same platform is supported.

For Roku replacement hardware, look for a supported Roku streaming player rather than choosing solely by price. For Fire TV, verify that the device runs a supported Fire OS version. For Apple TV, avoid second- and third-generation models because they cannot access the current app.
U.S. availability and pricing
Tennis Channel’s U.S. help documentation says the direct service is available only in the United States and U.S. territories and requires a card with U.S. billing information. That documentation lists a direct annual plan at $109.99 per year and a monthly plan at $11.99 per month, before applicable taxes. Prices, plans, supported devices, and geographic availability are changeable, so verify the current terms before subscribing.
When to contact Tennis Channel
If the correct account, device, and subscription route still fail, contact Tennis Channel support at 1-855-286-5539 or submit a support ticket through the Tennis Channel support page. Have the device model, subscription type, provider name if applicable, and the exact error message ready.
Important: Tennis Channel can change app labels, activation behavior, prices, supported models, and provider availability.
