Where can you watch the 2026 Sexiest Man Alive reveal?
There is currently no confirmed place to watch it. Do not assume that the 2026 announcement will air on CBS, NBC, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Paramount+, or another specific service simply because previous announcements appeared there.

PEOPLE has used late-night television for recent reveals, but the outlet and schedule have changed. The 2026 destination will need to be confirmed by PEOPLE or by the broadcaster or streaming partner named in an official announcement.
What date is confirmed for PEOPLE’s 2026 issue?
- On-sale date: November 6, 2026
- Issue date: November 16, 2026
Those are the dates listed in PEOPLE’s 2026 media calendar. An on-sale date is when copies are scheduled to become available, while the issue date is the date associated with the magazine edition itself. Neither date, by itself, proves that a televised or streamed reveal will happen at a particular hour.
Readers looking for a physical PEOPLE magazine copy should wait for the 2026 issue to become available through an authorized retailer or subscription channel. The research available for this article does not verify an Amazon listing or current offer for the 2026 Sexiest Man Alive issue.
How were recent winners announced?
2025: The Tonight Show
Jonathan Bailey was named PEOPLE’s 2025 Sexiest Man Alive. A CBS report citing The Associated Press said the announcement was made on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 4, 2025.

2022: The Late Show
For 2022, CBS and Paramount announced that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert would unveil the honor during its Monday, November 7 episode at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The official CBS/Paramount press release also listed live and on-demand availability through Paramount+.
These examples explain why viewers may expect a late-night reveal, but they do not establish the 2026 outlet. A past CBS or NBC arrangement should not be treated as a 2026 viewing instruction until an official schedule is published.
Who is the 2026 Sexiest Man Alive?
No 2026 winner has been confirmed in the authoritative sources reviewed for this update. Jonathan Bailey remains the most recently confirmed honoree, for 2025.
Some entertainment coverage has discussed possible contenders. A July 2026 report from Los 40 described Bad Bunny as an early prediction-market favorite. That is market speculation—not a PEOPLE shortlist, nomination, leak, or official result. Prediction-market odds should not be reported as evidence that a person has been selected.

What should viewers do when the announcement is made?
- Check PEOPLE’s official website and social channels for the announcement rather than relying on a recycled “tonight” headline.
- Look for an exact U.S. date, start time, and time zone.
- Confirm whether the event is a television segment, a digital reveal, a livestream, or only a magazine and web announcement.
- Verify the named network or streaming service from PEOPLE or the official broadcaster.
- Check whether a replay will be available if the announcement is part of a live late-night program.
- Use an absolute date when sharing the news. “Tonight” can become misleading as soon as the publication date changes.
Update note: This article reflects the information available for the reported August 13, 2026 reveal. Once PEOPLE publishes official 2026 announcement details, this page should be updated with the confirmed date, time, viewing destination, replay information, and winner. The November 6 on-sale date should also be rechecked because magazine schedules can change.
Rank #4
Bottom line
The claim that PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive will be revealed “tonight” on August 13, 2026 is not verified. The strongest official date currently available is the 2026 magazine schedule: copies are listed as on sale November 6, with an issue date of November 16. Until PEOPLE names the announcement venue, viewers should not tune in to a particular network or streaming service based only on the 2025 or 2022 precedents.
