This was more than a change of streaming application. Raw began a new distribution arrangement on Netflix, giving WWE’s flagship weekly program a new home in the United States and other supported markets. WWE treated the occasion as a major launch show, combining several established rivalries with a championship match, a stipulation match, major star appearances, and a new chapter for the company’s weekly television presentation.
How to watch or replay WWE Raw on Netflix
In the U.S. and other supported markets, WWE Raw streams live on Netflix and can be replayed afterward. Raw is included within the Netflix plan in supported regions rather than being sold as a separate pay-per-view purchase.
Availability is not identical everywhere. Netflix’s WWE catalog, live-streaming rights, schedules, and plan treatment can vary by country, so viewers should check Netflix in their own region for the current offering. The U.S. arrangement should not automatically be assumed to apply to every territory or to every WWE premium live event.
What viewers need
- A Netflix account and a plan that supports the relevant WWE programming in the viewer’s market.
- A compatible connected TV, streaming device, computer, phone, or tablet.
- Access to the live listing at the scheduled start time, or the episode page afterward for catch-up viewing where available.
For anyone looking to watch WWE Raw on Netflix now, the practical step is to open Netflix and search for WWE Raw, then confirm that the program is available in the account’s country. Do not rely on an old U.S. schedule or assume that a live listing will appear identically in another region.

The following is the completed card. Because the event has already taken place, the results—not the pre-show predictions—are the definitive record.
CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins
CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins was the premiere’s marquee singles match and the clearest payoff to the rivalry promoted before the event. WWE’s completed results list CM Punk as the winner.

The match also gave the Netflix launch a recognizable central conflict: two major WWE names with sharply opposed histories and personalities meeting in a high-profile singles bout. It was promoted as a defining attraction for the first Raw on the platform, rather than as an ordinary weekly-match booking.
Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat
Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat, a match built around their dispute over the Tribal Chief identity and the ula fala. The stipulation gave the premiere a storyline climax with stakes beyond a standard singles victory.
The broader presentation also included The Rock, who acknowledged Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. His appearance added another major family-and-lineage connection to a segment already centered on the future of the Tribal Chief position.
Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to win the Women’s World Championship
Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to regain the Women’s World Championship. It was the premiere’s major title change and the most consequential result for the women’s division on the completed card.
The result restored Ripley to the championship after her rivalry with Morgan had been a central part of the buildup. It also ensured that the Netflix launch produced a clear championship moment rather than relying only on star appearances and non-title matches.

Jey Uso defeated Drew McIntyre
Jey Uso defeated Drew McIntyre in another featured singles match. The bout rounded out a card built around prominent current WWE performers and gave Uso a significant win on the first Raw broadcast of the Netflix era.
John Cena’s Royal Rumble announcement
John Cena announced that he would enter the 2025 Royal Rumble Match. The announcement was one of the premiere’s most important developments outside the advertised matches, connecting Raw’s new Netflix chapter to WWE’s next major event cycle.
The show also featured opening remarks from Triple H as WWE formally presented the program as the beginning of its “Netflix Era.” Together with The Rock’s appearance, Cena’s announcement made the premiere function as a broader company showcase, not simply a four-match weekly episode.
What WWE predicted before the premiere
WWE published its official predictions article on January 3, 2025, before the show aired. That preview should be read as pre-event analysis, not as a second version of the results. Its framing focused on the stakes of the rivalries, the momentum behind the championship contenders, the possibility of interference, and the storyline consequences that could follow each match.

Before the bell
Before the bell, the central questions were whether CM Punk or Seth Rollins would settle their rivalry, whether Roman Reigns would reclaim control of the Tribal Chief dispute, whether Liv Morgan could retain against Rhea Ripley, and whether Jey Uso could overcome Drew McIntyre. WWE’s preview material treated those questions as unresolved and discussed the possible consequences of each outcome.
What happened
The official results resolved those questions: Punk, Reigns, Ripley, and Uso won their respective matches. Ripley’s victory produced the card’s title change, while the Reigns-Sikoa result settled the advertised Tribal Combat confrontation. Cena’s Royal Rumble announcement and The Rock’s appearance supplied additional developments beyond the match outcomes.

What changed
The immediate changes were concrete: Ripley became Women’s World Champion again, Reigns won the Tribal Combat match, Punk won the headline bout against Rollins, and Cena entered the Royal Rumble conversation. Longer-term effects should be described cautiously; the premiere established new directions, but a single episode does not by itself prove every later storyline consequence.
Why the Netflix premiere mattered
The event mattered for two connected reasons. First, it moved Raw into a new global streaming relationship. Second, WWE made the first episode deliberately oversized, using its most recognizable names and several major storyline beats to make the platform transition feel like an event.

Netflix reported 4.9 million global Live+1 views for the premiere. Netflix also reported an average of 2.6 million U.S. households, compared with Raw’s reported 2024 average of 1.2 million households, citing VideoAmp. These are Netflix-reported performance figures and should be understood as company-reported metrics, not as independently audited universal audience measurements. Netflix also reported substantial social activity around the launch.
Even without treating those figures as a complete measure of the show’s success, the programming strategy was clear. WWE paired the distribution change with CM Punk vs. Rollins, Reigns vs. Sikoa in a special stipulation match, Ripley’s championship win, Cena’s Royal Rumble declaration, and The Rock’s appearance. The result was designed to introduce Raw to Netflix viewers with a collection of stories that already carried substantial name recognition.

The most direct collectible connection is CM Punk merchandise because Punk competed in one of the launch show’s headline matches. Mattel and WWE have documented multiple CM Punk action figures, while the official WWE Shop has also listed merchandise associated with Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and other performers connected with the premiere.
Depending on the collector’s interest, relevant categories include action figures, apparel, title replicas, framed items, pillows, and other licensed WWE collectibles. Product stock, prices, editions, and retailer availability are volatile, so buyers should verify the current listing and seller information before purchasing. Official WWE merchandise and licensed products are separate from the question of how to access the broadcast itself.

Frequently confused details
- This was a completed event: the January 6, 2025 premiere is no longer a future card, so Punk, Reigns, Ripley, and Uso should be reported as the actual winners.
- Netflix availability is regional: Raw’s U.S. treatment should not be presented as a universal rule for every country.
- Raw is not automatically the same as every WWE event: the fact that Raw is included in Netflix plans in supported markets does not establish identical rights or pricing for every premium live event.
- Reported audience figures need attribution: the 4.9 million global Live+1 views and 2.6 million U.S.-household figure came from Netflix, with the household comparison citing VideoAmp.

John Cena’s Royal Rumble announcement and The Rock’s appearance added to the occasion.
