Is Holland available outside the U.S.?
The confirmed availability covered by this guide is the U.S. Prime Video catalog. Streaming rights vary by country and can change, so viewers elsewhere should search for Holland in their local Prime Video catalog rather than assume that the U.S. listing applies to them.
U.S. availability listings also report Prime Video and Prime Video with ads as options, but those third-party listings are best treated as corroboration. The Prime Video title page for the viewer’s own country is the most useful final check.
What is Holland about?
Holland follows Nancy Vandergroot, a teacher and homemaker whose life in the seemingly perfect town of Holland, Michigan, appears carefully ordered. That sense of security begins to break down when Nancy and a friendly colleague become suspicious of a secret.
That is deliberately the spoiler-light version. The film’s mystery depends on discoveries about Nancy’s apparently ideal life, so explaining the secret or later revelations would undercut the viewing experience.

What are critics saying?
The critical response has been mixed to negative. Rotten Tomatoes’ critics’ aggregation reflects concerns that the film stretches its style and relies on familiar or recycled twists. The Guardian similarly describes it as twisty but disappointing.
Another strand of the response is more favorable toward Kidman than toward the film as a whole. RogerEbert.com argues that Kidman remains compelling, while also suggesting that the movie does not consistently make the best use of her performance.
Those are critical judgments, not instructions about whether you should watch the film. Viewers drawn to stylized small-town mysteries, Dutch visual motifs, and an intentionally heightened thriller tone may find Holland worth trying, especially if they already subscribe to Prime Video. Those seeking a tightly plotted, conventional mystery may want to temper their expectations.
Should you watch Holland?
Holland is most suited to viewers who want a Nicole Kidman-led psychological mystery with a carefully staged small-town setting and a succession of revelations. Its premise is straightforward to access on Prime Video in the U.S., but its content rating and divided critical reception are worth knowing before you press play.
