Where to watch Four Knights of the Apocalypse in the U.S.
| Service | Availability | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Netflix | Currently listed in the United States | The primary legal streaming option identified by the current listings; two seasons and 36 episodes are reported. |
| Free legal streaming | No option currently reported | Availability data checked for this guide did not list a free legal streaming service. |
This is a U.S.-specific answer. Netflix catalogs, subtitle and dub options, episode counts, and release timing may differ in other countries. A title’s presence in the U.S. Netflix catalog also does not mean that Netflix carries every related Seven Deadly Sins film or series in every territory.
Netflix plan and price note
When the Netflix title page was checked, it displayed these U.S. plan prices:
#1 Best Overall
- Standard with ads: $8.99 per month
- Standard: $19.99 per month
- Premium: $26.99 per month
Netflix changes plan names, prices, availability, and account rules. Treat those figures as a dated snapshot rather than a guaranteed current price, and confirm the offer shown at signup. You need a Netflix subscription that includes the title in your region; this guide does not identify a separate free trial or free legal viewing option.
What is The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse about?
Four Knights of the Apocalypse is a fantasy action anime set in the world of The Seven Deadly Sins. Netflix describes it as a story in which a prophecy begins to unfold and a boy starts a journey involving discovery and revenge.
The central character is Percival. In the opening story, he has grown up in an isolated home, but a life-changing attack forces him to leave and search for answers. Kodansha describes the manga as a continuation of The Seven Deadly Sins world, making this a sequel-era story rather than an unrelated fantasy series.

Should you watch The Seven Deadly Sins first?
Yes, if you want the most context-rich viewing order—but it is not a platform requirement. Because Four Knights of the Apocalypse continues the world of The Seven Deadly Sins, watching the original anime first should make the franchise’s history, relationships, and returning elements easier to follow.
The recommended context-first order is:
- The Seven Deadly Sins original anime
- Optional franchise films and specials, if you want additional background
- The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse
You can also start directly with Four Knights of the Apocalypse if Percival’s story is your main interest. Netflix presents it as its own series with its own season listings, so prior viewing is not being presented here as mandatory. The trade-off is that some world history and character connections may be less familiar.
Where do the Grudge of Edinburgh films fit?
Treat The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh as optional companion material unless you verify a current, official chronological watch order for your territory. The sources reviewed for this guide establish the broader franchise and the sequel relationship, but they do not provide a complete authoritative placement for those films.

In practical terms, you can begin with the original anime, watch optional films when you want more franchise material, and then move to Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Do not treat that as a definitive official chronology for the films.
How to start watching
- Open Netflix in the United States.
- Search for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, using the full title to avoid confusing it with the original series or a film.
- Check that the title page shows the season and episode listings available to your account.
- Choose a season and begin with its first episode. If you want the broader franchise context, watch the original The Seven Deadly Sins anime first.
- Before subscribing solely for this show, confirm the current plan price and whether the title is still available in your country.
Want to read beyond the anime?
The anime is adapted from Nakaba Suzuki’s official manga continuation. If you want to compare the adaptation with its source or continue exploring the story in print, The Seven Deadly Sins Four Knights of the Apocalypse Volume 1 manga is the natural starting point. Kodansha lists the English print edition at 192 pages and identifies Amazon among its print and digital retailers; the U.S. print edition was listed with a January 25, 2022 release date. It is optional source material, not something you need in order to watch the anime.
Retail stock, formats, and prices can change. Kodansha’s series and release information also indicate an active English-language catalog, so readers may want to check the publisher’s current listings for later print and digital volumes.

- Audio and subtitles: Verify the options shown on your own title page; language availability can vary by country and account settings.

- Companion films: Do not assume that the Grudge of Edinburgh films have the same availability or a definitively established viewing position.
