Why some listings say October 11 in Japan
Japanese television schedules often continue counting after midnight as part of the previous broadcast day. Therefore, a listing for October 10 at 24:26 does not mean that the episode began on October 10 at 12:26 p.m. It means the broadcast started at 12:26 a.m. on October 11 in ordinary civil time.
That is why both October 10 and October 11 can appear in episode listings without representing different releases. October 10, 2024 is the relevant date for the international streaming release and the U.S.-focused answer.

Spoiler-free summary: Momo Ayase and Okarun are forced to work together after their separate encounters with paranormal forces. Momo has awakened psychic abilities, while Okarun is dealing with the curse and physical consequences connected to Turbo Granny. Their attempt to make it safely to Momo’s home leads to another dangerous encounter—this time with an enormous alien threat.

Momo uses her newly awakened psychic power to restrain Okarun and help control the Turbo Granny curse affecting him. After their exhausting first night, the pair try to reach Momo’s home. Along the way, removing a protective talisman from a torii gate triggers the appearance of the huge alien known as the Flatwoods Monster.
The Flatwoods Monster becomes the episode’s central threat. Momo and Okarun have to combine their abilities to fight it, while Okarun struggles with the physical toll of transforming and using Turbo Granny’s power. The battle demonstrates that their powers are useful but not yet fully under control.

By the end of the fight, the Flatwoods Monster has been defeated. Momo collapses unconscious after overexerting herself, while Okarun’s transformation becomes increasingly difficult for him to control. The victory therefore does not resolve the danger surrounding the pair; it leaves them with new problems to confront in the following episodes.
