Paramount+ was the official U.S. streaming service for the 2025 ceremony, but the plan distinction mattered:

The Tony Awards: Act One was a separate pre-show presented on CBS and Pluto TV. It contained live, exclusive material and an initial portion of the award presentation before the main telecast.

- Amp up your audio - Fire TV Soundbar enhances TV audio with dual speakers for fuller sound, clearer dialogue, and deeper bass—all in a compact design.
- Immersive sound - Enjoy a three-dimensional virtual surround sound experience with DTS Virtual:X and more detail with Dolby Audio.
- Easy setup - Just plug in the included HDMI cable to the HDMI eARC/ARC port on your TV to instantly enjoy audio that's always in sync.
- Compact design - With a length of 24“ and a height of just 2.5", Fire TV Soundbar fits most entertainment consoles and TV stands.
- Stream audio with Bluetooth - Connect your phone or tablet via Bluetooth to fill the room with your favorite music.
It was not the complete ceremony. Viewers who wanted the full 2025 Tony Awards needed the CBS broadcast or an authorized full-episode replay. Pluto TV should therefore be treated as an Act One destination, not as confirmation that the entire three-hour ceremony is available there.
What to do if the replay is missing
- Check CBS first. Look for The 78th Annual Tony Awards, listed as a June 8, 2025 special. The current listing describes it as a 145-minute episode.
- Check Paramount+. Search for the title directly rather than relying on an old promotional page. Confirm both your region and subscription tier.
- Use the official Tony Awards archive. This is the best place to look for selected performances, past telecasts, and links to authorized digital purchase or download options.
- Check the retailer’s location rules. A digital purchase or download offered in one country may not appear in another, and availability can be withdrawn or changed.
- Avoid assuming a physical product is required. The archive’s Amazon reference concerns possible digital purchase or download availability; it does not confirm an official Tony Awards DVD or merchandise listing.
Why some listings say 145 minutes instead of three hours
The original CBS schedule was a three-hour television event, running from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. Eastern time. CBS’s current program page lists the replay as a 145-minute special. That difference can reflect how a streaming platform packages the broadcast, including the treatment of advertising, transitions, or other broadcast material. It does not mean that the CBS listing is necessarily a different Tony Awards event.

Event details
The program was the 78th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Cynthia Erivo and held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. These details distinguish it from the 2026 ceremony, which was the 79th Annual Tony Awards.
Can viewers outside the United States watch it?
The broadcast and Paramount+ details above apply to the United States. CBS affiliate feeds, Paramount+ plans, the Tony Awards archive, and digital retailers may offer different rights in other countries. International viewers should use the official Tony Awards watch page and local listings rather than assuming that the U.S. CBS or Paramount+ arrangement applies to them.
