During Masters week, start with Masters.com, The Masters Tournament app, CBSSports.com, or the CBS Sports app. These official platforms provide free digital Masters Live coverage in the United States, including selected featured groups, holes, player coverage, scoring, and related programming.
There is one important catch: free digital coverage may not include every minute of the traditional CBS television broadcast. If you want the full weekend CBS presentation without a monthly streaming bill, an indoor TV antenna may receive your local CBS affiliate, provided your home has adequate over-the-air reception.
What you can watch for free
| Option | Cost during the tournament | What it offers | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Masters.com or The Masters Tournament app | Free | Official Masters Live feeds, featured groups, selected holes, scoring, radio, and other tournament programming | Digital coverage is not necessarily the complete traditional network broadcast; live video is seasonal and region-dependent |
| CBSSports.com or the CBS Sports app | Free for listed Masters Live coverage | Selected live digital coverage and Masters Live programming on desktop and mobile | Coverage windows and authentication requirements can vary |
| indoor digital TV antenna | One-time hardware cost | Local CBS broadcast without a monthly subscription, where reception is adequate | Signal quality depends on location, building construction, antenna placement, and local CBS availability |
| Paramount+ Premium | Paid subscription | The full local CBS feed for the applicable weekend rounds, plus Masters Live content | Not free; pricing and plan terms change |
| Prime Video | Paid subscription or eligible access | Selected early-round coverage when included in the current rights package | Not a general free option; rights and coverage windows can change |
The exact schedule changes from year to year, so check the official tournament listings shortly before the event. The 2026 tournament ran from April 6 through April 12, with competitive rounds from April 9 through April 12. As of August 11, 2026, that tournament has ended; the next listed return is in April 2027. When the Masters is not being played, live feeds generally are not active, although scores, highlights, replays, and other on-demand material may remain available.
1. Use Masters.com or the official Masters app
For most viewers, the official Masters digital service is the best place to begin. The free Masters app listing describes live video features including the broadcast simulcast, Featured Groups, Amen Corner, holes 4–6, holes 15–16, Masters On the Range, the Green Jacket Ceremony, live scoring, player pages, and Masters Radio. The app also lists support for Apple TV among its supported device ecosystem. [c001]

- HD streaming made simple: With America’s number 1 TV streaming platform,* exploring popular apps—plus tons of free movies, shows, and live TV—is as easy as it is fun. *Based on hours streamed—Hypothesis Group
- Compact without compromises: The sleek design of Roku Streaming Stick won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- TV, simplified: With setup that only takes minutes, a simple-to-navigate Home Screen, and an uncluttered remote control that does all you need—Roku makes it easier to watch the TV you love.
This option is particularly strong if you want to follow a particular player or group, watch signature holes, monitor shot-by-shot activity, or switch among several concurrent feeds. It is not simply a highlights application: it is the tournament’s official digital viewing hub.
However, do not assume that the app or website will always show every shot from every player or duplicate the complete CBS television presentation. The available feed lineup, simulcast hours, geographic availability, and device support are event-specific. The official app listing specifically identifies the United States among the locations with live-video availability; viewers elsewhere should check the current regional listing rather than attempt to bypass restrictions. How to watch on a television
- Install the official Masters app on a supported smart-TV platform or streaming device, if available.
- Alternatively, open Masters.com from a computer or mobile device and cast or mirror the video only if your device and network support that feature.
- Use the app’s live-video or Masters Live section when tournament programming is scheduled.
A streaming stick can be useful if your television does not already support the Masters or CBS Sports apps. It enables access to an app; it does not make a paid service free, and many viewers will not need additional hardware if they already have a compatible smart TV, phone, computer, or Apple TV.
2. Try CBSSports.com or the CBS Sports app
CBS Sports’ 2026 round-by-round coverage guides identified CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app as free ways to watch Masters Live coverage on desktop and mobile. [c002] [c003]
This is a useful alternative if you prefer CBS’s interface or want another official source for digital coverage. CBS Sports HQ also provided extensive free streaming analysis and related Masters programming around the 2026 event. That programming should not be confused with a promise of uninterrupted access to every live competitive shot. [c007]

Because the available feed and rights package can change by day, open the current CBS Sports Masters guide before the opening round. A platform may provide a live stream for one coverage window while directing viewers elsewhere for another.
3. Use an antenna for the full local CBS broadcast
If your priority is the conventional weekend television presentation rather than selected digital feeds, an over-the-air antenna is the closest thing to a permanently free solution. Paramount+’s official 2026 viewing guide identified a digital antenna as a way to receive the local CBS station. [c004]
After the initial equipment purchase, there is no monthly streaming charge. But an antenna works only when your home can receive a usable signal from a local CBS affiliate. Results vary according to:

- Apartment walls, foil insulation, concrete, and other building materials
- Indoor antenna placement and height
- Local terrain and interference
Before buying, check local over-the-air station availability for your ZIP code. Place the antenna near a window or on an exterior-facing wall when practical, scan for channels after connecting it to the television, and be prepared to reposition it if the CBS signal is weak. Do not assume that a product labeled “long range” will work equally well in every home.

- Breathtaking picture quality: Stunningly sharp 4K picture brings out rich detail in your entertainment with four times the resolution of HD. Watch as colors pop off your screen and enjoy lifelike clarity with Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
- Seamless streaming for any room: With Roku Streaming Stick 4K, watch your favorite entertainment on any TV in the house, even in rooms farther from your router thanks to the long-range Wi-Fi receiver.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- Compact without compromises: Our sleek design won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, so you can switch from streaming to gaming with ease. Plus, it’s designed to stay hidden behind your TV, keeping wires neatly out of sight
For readers who want to compare hardware, check indoor TV antennas with the reception caveat above in mind. The appropriate model depends on the viewer’s location and home, and current product availability and program eligibility should be verified before publication or purchase.
Free versus complete coverage
The word “free” describes several different viewing experiences:
- Free official digital feeds: Masters.com, the official app, CBSSports.com, and the CBS Sports app can provide live Masters programming without a cable login during listed coverage windows.
- Free local broadcast: An antenna may receive the CBS broadcast after a one-time equipment purchase, if local reception is sufficient.
- Free analysis and supplemental programming: CBS Sports HQ and similar official feeds may offer previews, commentary, highlights, or surrounding coverage without showing the entire live tournament.
- Paid full-broadcast access: A subscription may be needed for the complete local CBS stream or coverage carried by a particular rights partner.
In other words, free access can be excellent for featured groups, famous holes, player tracking, and Masters-specific digital content without being identical to a full network broadcast from start to finish.

When a paid service is the only practical answer
Paramount+’s 2026 information stated that subscribers on any plan could access Masters Live feeds, while Premium subscribers could stream the full CBS broadcasts of the third and final rounds through the local CBS feed. The guide listed plans starting at $8.99 per month at the time of publication, but price, plan names, promotional offers, and terms are changeable. Recheck the current plan details before signing up. [c004] [c006]
If you want the complete CBS weekend broadcast and cannot receive your local station with an antenna, Paramount+ Premium for the Masters is a paid upgrade to investigate. It should not be described as a free stream, and readers should confirm the current price, cancellation date, local availability, and whether the required plan is still Premium.

A live-TV streaming service carrying local CBS can also provide a cable-like solution. Availability and pricing vary by ZIP code, and a free trial—when one exists—should be treated as a temporary promotion rather than a permanently free method. Check eligibility, the billing date, and cancellation rules before relying on it for tournament weekend.
Where Prime Video fits
The 2026 rights arrangement included Prime Video for portions of early-round coverage. The Associated Press reported that Prime Video had been added as a Masters broadcast partner, expanding the total amount of live coverage. [c009]
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
That does not make Prime Video a universal free option. It may be useful to viewers who already have eligible access, but future rights, exact days, coverage hours, and subscription requirements must be verified for the relevant tournament. Treat Prime Video Masters coverage as a current-year schedule question, not a standing promise that every Masters event will be available there.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Avoid unofficial “free” streams
Search results may show mirror sites or pages claiming to offer every Masters shot for free. They are a poor trade-off for official services. Unauthorized sports-streaming pages commonly use deceptive play buttons, aggressive redirects, pop-ups, fake browser warnings, and requests to install unknown software or browser extensions. They also create copyright and account-security concerns.

Use the official Masters properties, CBS Sports, a local CBS station, or a verified current rights holder instead. Do not use a VPN to circumvent geographic restrictions: the official app identifies where live video is available, and bypassing rights restrictions can create legal, contractual, or account problems.
