How to watch the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery now
ESPN broadcast
In the United States, ESPN carried the national broadcast beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on May 12, 2025. The event is no longer airing live because the lottery has concluded.
Watch ESPN
ESPN also listed the program through Watch ESPN. At the time of the broadcast, access generally depended on ESPN credentials or credentials from a participating television provider. An archived listing confirms the program, but it should not be treated as a guarantee that the stream is still available or freely accessible.
NBA.com replay and official video
For a post-event viewing option, NBA.com published both a full-drawing video and a full-show replay of the ESPN broadcast. Replay availability and platform presentation can change, so readers should look for the NBA’s official video pages rather than assume that an archived Watch ESPN stream remains active.

What the lottery determined
The NBA Draft Lottery set the order for the first 14 selections in the 2025 NBA Draft. It did not determine the complete draft order or guarantee which player each team would select.
The 2025 NBA Draft was scheduled for June 25 and 26, 2025, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The first round took place June 25, followed by the second round on June 26.
How the 2025 lottery format worked
For the 2025 process, the lottery drawing determined picks 1 through 4 directly among the lottery teams. Positions 5 through 14 were then assigned in reverse order of regular-season records.
