The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are over. The PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly red-carpet livestream was scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Netflix’s official red-carpet preshow followed at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, and the awards ceremony began at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
If you are looking for a replay, start with the PEOPLE and EW YouTube and social channels, then check Netflix’s official SAG Awards 2025 page for the recorded ceremony and available highlights. The original Netflix availability window was reported as 28 days after the live broadcast, so that initial window has expired.
What happened and where it streamed
The 2025 SAG Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles on February 23, 2025. The ceremony was streamed globally on Netflix, with Kristen Bell as host. Jane Fonda received the SAG Life Achievement Award.
The title’s “EW and PEOPLE livestream” referred to a separate entertainment-media red-carpet program—not the official Netflix preshow. The three broadcasts had different start times and distribution arrangements:

The published times above are the U.S. Eastern and Pacific times. Netflix described the ceremony as a global stream, but the PEOPLE and EW distribution information should not be treated as a guarantee of identical availability in every country.
How to find the PEOPLE and EW red-carpet coverage now
Because the PEOPLE/EW event was live on February 23, 2025, it is no longer possible to watch it as a live broadcast. Archived coverage may still be available, but the available information does not establish that either brand retained a permanent full-length replay on every platform.
- Search the PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly YouTube channels. Use a phrase such as SAG Awards 2025 live from the red carpet. A YouTube result with the title “SAG Awards 2025: LIVE from the red carpet” was indexed during research.
- Check the brands’ social accounts. Look on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook for red-carpet clips, interviews, fashion coverage and edited highlights.
- Check the original video players on PEOPLE and EW. Search the sites for “SAG Awards 2025 red carpet” rather than assuming the original live player is still active.
- Expect clips rather than a guaranteed full replay. Platform retention can change, videos can be removed, and some social posts may be shortened or region-restricted.
Do not rely on a page that still says the event is “live,” “tonight” or “this Sunday.” Those labels may be stale. The relevant date was February 23, 2025.

How to watch the official Netflix preshow or ceremony recording
Netflix was the official platform for the SAG Awards preshow and ceremony. The preshow was hosted by Sasheer Zamata and Lilly Singh and was designed to include red-carpet access, nominee interviews and fashion coverage. The ceremony followed at 8 p.m. ET.

You do not need a particular television model to follow the official Netflix viewing route. Netflix supports viewing through compatible smart TVs, streaming players, game consoles, cable boxes and other connected devices, as well as supported computers and browsers.

What viewers should not confuse
- 6 p.m. ET: the separately promoted PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly red-carpet program.
- 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT: Netflix’s official red-carpet preshow with Sasheer Zamata and Lilly Singh.
- 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT: the SAG Awards ceremony on Netflix.
The PEOPLE/EW broadcast was not simply another name for Netflix’s preshow. They were separate programs, and treating 6 p.m. as the Netflix ceremony start would give viewers the wrong platform and schedule.

For a complete replay, availability is the main uncertainty. Netflix’s original 28-day window has passed, and the evidence does not guarantee that the PEOPLE/EW full livestream remains online. Search results and social platforms may surface archived segments, but they should be treated as availability-dependent rather than permanent alternatives.
