What’s new on Apple TV in July 2025?
Apple TV in July 2025 brought three principal premieres: Foundation season 3 and the documentary adventure series The Wild Ones on July 11, followed by Acapulco season 4 on July 23. July also included weekly episodes of shows that debuted earlier, while Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical belonged to August rather than July. Apple’s official July 2025 originals index is the primary release-calendar reference.

When did Foundation season 3 premiere?
Foundation season 3 premiered on July 11, 2025. Apple describes the returning science-fiction drama as the story of exiles attempting to save humanity and rebuild civilization while the Galactic Empire falls. The season continues the television adaptation’s relationship with Isaac Asimov’s novels, but the novels are source material rather than a promise of a scene-for-scene adaptation. Apple TV Press’s official Foundation title page lists the season and provides Apple’s series synopsis.

“Foundation chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire.” — Apple TV Press
The July choice is strongest for viewers who want serialized science fiction rather than a self-contained documentary. Because Foundation is a continuing story, starting with season 3 may be less satisfying for newcomers than watching the earlier seasons first. Readers interested in the literary foundation can also explore Foundation by Isaac Asimov as optional source material.
What is The Wild Ones about, and how was it released?
The Wild Ones premiered globally on July 11, 2025, as a new six-part documentary adventure series, with all six episodes available at once. That release pattern makes the series different from the July scripted premieres: viewers can watch the complete expedition immediately rather than waiting for weekly episodes. Apple TV Press’s premiere announcement confirms the six-episode format and global July 11 release.
Aldo Kane, Declan Burley, and Vianet Djenguet travel through Malaysia, Mongolia, Armenia, Indonesia, Canada, and Gabon to locate, film, and help protect endangered species. The animals named in Apple’s announcement include the Malayan tiger, Gobi bear, Caucasian leopard, Javan rhinoceros, North Atlantic right whale, and Western lowland gorilla.

Which Apple TV+ shows had new episodes during July?
Stick, The Buccaneers, and Smoke continued with weekly episodes during July 2025. These programs should be described as ongoing series or new-episode drops, not as July season premieres. A contemporaneous July 2025 release-calendar cross-check identified Stick as continuing through July 23, The Buccaneers as continuing through August 6, and Smoke as continuing through August 15.
| Series | How to label its July appearance | Schedule endpoint identified in the July calendar |
|---|---|---|
| Stick | Weekly episodes from an earlier launch | July 23, 2025 |
| The Buccaneers | Weekly episodes from an earlier launch | August 6, 2025 |
| Smoke | Weekly episodes from an earlier launch | August 15, 2025 |
Was Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical released in July 2025?
No. Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical was scheduled for August 15, 2025, not July. One secondary July calendar listed the Peanuts special for July 18, but Apple’s official title page and Apple’s July 30 announcement both give August 15 as the release date. Apple’s official title page for the special lists its date and 40-minute runtime.
The 40-minute children’s and family musical follows Charlie Brown as he tries to make his final year at summer camp special. Sally is attending camp for the first time, while Snoopy and Woodstock discover a treasure map that leads to an adventure. The special belongs in an August release preview or correction note, not in an accurate list of July premieres. Apple’s official July 30 announcement also confirms the August 15 date.

Choose The Wild Ones first for a complete documentary binge, Foundation season 3 for serialized science-fiction, or Acapulco season 4 for a bilingual comedy finale. The best choice depends more on format and viewing style than on a comparable popularity ranking; the available research does not establish a reliable audience figure or performance ranking for these releases.
| If you want… | Start with… | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A self-contained documentary | The Wild Ones | It is a new six-part wildlife and conservation series with all episodes released on July 11. |

How can you watch the July Apple TV+ lineup?
The July premieres are Apple TV+ content, while Apple TV 4K is separate viewing hardware. Apple presents Apple TV 4K as a device for streaming Apple Originals and Apple TV content; buying the device should not be treated as including an Apple TV+ subscription. Subscription availability, pricing, supported screens, and regional access can vary, so check the current Apple TV+ terms for the viewer’s country before subscribing.
A verified streaming-subscription partner was not established in the research for this article, so no subscription price, free trial, affiliate term, or program availability is stated here. The practical viewing distinction is simple: Apple TV+ is the streaming service; Apple TV 4K is one hardware option for watching it on a television.
