The Vans Warped Tour returned in 2025, but not as the 40-city traveling tour many longtime fans remember. To mark the brand’s 30th anniversary, founder Kevin Lyman and Insomniac organized three separate two-day festivals: Washington, D.C., Long Beach, California, and Orlando, Florida. The three-stop format was designed to preserve Warped’s mix of established acts, developing artists, community programming, and accessible pricing without rebuilding the demanding nationwide touring operation that ended in 2018.

Vans Warped Tour 2025 dates and locations
| City | Dates | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| Washington, D.C. | June 14–15, 2025 | Festival Grounds at RFK Campus |
| Long Beach, California | July 26–27, 2025 | Shoreline Waterfront, Downtown Long Beach |
| Orlando, Florida | November 15–16, 2025 | Camping World Stadium Campus |
These were destination festivals rather than stops on one continuous national tour. Venue listings also used variations such as “Festival Grounds at RFK Stadium” and “Downtown Long Beach Shoreline Waterfront,” but they referred to the same announced event locations.
Why Kevin Lyman chose three festivals instead of a nationwide tour
Lyman told Pollstar that the decision was both practical and strategic. He did not want to recreate a traditional 40-city Warped Tour, in part because of the physical demands of moving people and equipment by bus for months. A three-stop model offered a way to revive the event’s identity without restoring the entire touring machine.

The partnership with Insomniac also influenced the locations. According to Lyman, Insomniac already had event infrastructure and personnel in place near the selected dates. Using existing resources helped organizers pursue a lower ticket price and made the revival more workable than building a completely independent tour from scratch.
Long Beach was not the most obvious Southern California choice compared with San Francisco, Lyman said, but the city’s mayor was enthusiastic about bringing Warped back. That local support, combined with the available arrangement, helped make the waterfront festival possible.
Affordability was another central part of the plan. Lyman said younger audiences were becoming wary of escalating concert prices and that Warped needed to help a new generation build a lasting connection with live music. The 2025 ticket structure offered general-admission and VIP options without a separate GA-plus tier. Reported launch pricing for a weekend pass was $119.99 plus $29.99 in fees, or $149.98 total. That was launch-period pricing, not a guarantee of what tickets cost later, and it should not be treated as a current ticket offer for an event that has already taken place.
How large was each 2025 Warped Tour stop?
The three festivals were not identical traveling lineups. Before the final announcements, Lyman told Pollstar that Long Beach was expected to feature approximately 132 bands, Washington, D.C., roughly 84 to 86, and Orlando approximately 130. The differences reflected venue capacity and how the budget was allocated at each location.

The lineup was unveiled through a staged “30 Days of Warped” campaign. Pollstar later reported that 130 bands were announced one at a time over 30 days. Lyman said during a 2025 Production Live keynote that the announcement videos generated approximately 25 million views and that some smaller acts experienced immediate social-media growth. Those figures were Lyman’s reported remarks, not independently audited audience measurements.
Because the campaign rolled out gradually—and some coverage described the February 26 announcement as “almost” complete—early articles should not be treated as definitive, exhaustive rosters. The following are representative highlights by city, not a claim that every listed act played every location or both days.

What made the 2025 revival different from an ordinary festival?
The Insomniac partnership gave the revival newer production resources, but the event was presented as more than a concert bill. Organizers emphasized the parts of Warped Tour that had helped define its culture: artist discovery, participation, affordability, and access for younger fans.
Programming and attractions associated with the return included nonprofit booths, meet-and-greets, interactive art areas, environmental initiatives, and the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands. These elements reflected Warped’s longstanding role as a meeting place for scenes that did not fit neatly into one genre. Punk, ska, pop-punk, alternative rock, metal, hip-hop, emo, and related communities could share the same event.
That mixed-scene identity was part of Lyman’s original concept. After founding Warped Tour in 1995, he recognized that audiences for punk, ska, alternative music, and neighboring styles often had more in common than genre labels suggested. Over time, the festival became associated not only with large acts but also with discovering developing artists and helping them build careers.

From the original Warped Tour to the 2025 return
The original Vans Warped Tour was a traveling summer festival that crossed the country. Its final full nationwide run ended in 2018. The brand then returned for three 25th-anniversary events in 2019, but those events did not restore the old annual coast-to-coast schedule.
The 2025 edition was therefore the first major revival after that hiatus, while still being an anniversary-style event rather than a literal continuation of the former tour. Calling it a “return of Warped Tour” is accurate; calling it a 2025 national tour with dozens of stops is not.
What fans can still buy from the 2025 revival
Because the 2025 festivals are over, merchandise is the relevant post-event option—not tickets. The official merchandise ecosystem listed return merchandise and commemorative items, including a Vans Warped Tour 2025 commemorative shirt and location-specific posters such as the Long Beach Warped Tour 2025 poster. Availability can change, so readers should verify stock, sizing, licensing, and seller details before buying.
Official Vans Warped Tour apparel and accessories also provide a broader memorabilia option for fans who want to mark the 30th anniversary. These products are souvenirs connected to the event, not evidence that additional 2025 dates were added.

What the three-stop model meant
The 2025 Warped Tour tested whether the festival’s culture could function in a modern market without the costs and physical strain of a summer-long bus tour. It retained recognizable legacy performers while making room for newer acts, and it treated community programming and artist development as part of the event rather than optional extras.

Its most important distinction was also its clearest limitation: Warped came back, but it came back as three large destination weekends. The revival honored the brand’s 30-year history without claiming to restore 30 years of uninterrupted touring or the exact format that had concluded in 2018.

The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Vans Warped Tour 2025 was a three-city, three-weekend revival in Washington, D.C., Long Beach, and Orlando—not a new 40-city national tour. Kevin Lyman’s stated goals were to avoid the strain of a full bus tour, use Insomniac’s existing infrastructure, keep pricing more accessible, and reconnect younger fans with live music while preserving Warped’s artist-development and community-focused identity.
