Rihanna is not currently being reported as pregnant. The pregnancy referenced in the original headline was announced at the 2025 Met Gala, and Rihanna later confirmed that she and A$AP Rocky welcomed their third child, a daughter named Rocki Irish Mayers, on September 13, 2025.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are now parents of three. Rihanna announced their daughter’s birth on September 24, 2025, identifying the baby as Rocki Irish Mayers and giving her birth date as September 13, 2025. ABC News reported the same name and birth date, as did Vogue.
When Rihanna and A$AP Rocky announced the pregnancy
The couple revealed the pregnancy on May 5, 2025, at the Met Gala in New York. A$AP Rocky confirmed the news to reporters, while Rihanna appeared in a pinstriped look that prominently displayed her baby bump. The Associated Press reported that Rocky said the couple was happy and ready to show the public what they had been preparing.
That appearance became the starting point for coverage of Rihanna’s third pregnancy, but it is no longer the latest development. The confirmed chronology is:

Rihanna’s public pregnancy reveals and fashion
The Met Gala announcement continued a pattern of highly visible family updates. Rihanna’s first pregnancy became public through appearances in New York in 2022, while her second pregnancy was revealed during her 2023 Super Bowl halftime performance.
Her maternity style also attracted substantial attention. Rihanna has used public appearances to treat pregnancy clothing as a form of personal and fashion expression, often choosing looks that deliberately emphasize rather than conceal a baby bump. The 2025 Met Gala appearance and the couple’s later Smurfs premiere appearance added to that public fashion narrative, but the central news is the confirmed birth—not an ongoing pregnancy.
