The Fortnite experience opened on August 10, 2024, and was scheduled to remain available only through August 16, 2024. The Wolverine-related reward was the Peelverine Plush Back Bling—a Peely-and-Wolverine cosmetic—not the Wolverine Outfit.
The event’s island code and original viewing window are therefore historical. If you attended in 2024 but never received the item, check your Locker and contact Epic Games Support; if you missed the event, the official announcement identified a possible future Item Shop release but did not promise one.
What happened to the Fortnite D23 event?
Disney Horizons Live from D23 was a Fortnite-exclusive presentation connected to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Epic announced it on August 8, 2024. The experience opened on August 10, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. PT / 10:30 p.m. ET, with the presentation beginning at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET.
Players could enter the Fortnite island to watch Disney-related reveals from the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase. The experience remained available, including a looping replay for people who missed the live broadcast, until August 16, 2024. That access window has ended, so entering the old island code now should not be treated as a current way to watch the event or qualify for its reward. [Epic Games announcement, August 8, 2024]
Disney later said that the showcase attracted more than 1.3 million concurrent players in Fortnite and included announcements involving Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. [Disney report]
What was the Wolverine item?
The reward was the Peelverine Plush Back Bling. It is a Fortnite back bling that combines Peely’s banana character with Wolverine’s look and theme.
It was not any of the following:
- the standard Wolverine Outfit;
- Wolverine Zero;
- X-23; or
- a reward that unlocks the playable Wolverine character.
Fortnite has offered other Wolverine cosmetics separately. The original Wolverine Outfit and its related rewards were associated with Chapter 2, Season 4 challenges, while Wolverine Zero was included with the August 2022 Fortnite Crew Pack. Those items are unrelated to the D23 attendance reward. [Epic Games Fortnite announcements and item references]
How the original claim process worked
During the 2024 event, players could qualify for the Peelverine Plush Back Bling and XP by spending at least 10 minutes in the Disney Horizons Live experience.
- Launch Fortnite.
- Open the Discover interface.
- Select Disney Horizons Live from D23 from the Homebar or the top row of Discover.
- If it was not visible, enter the island code 7908-6413-2516.
- Remain in the experience for at least 10 minutes.
Those instructions applied only while the island and event window were active. The code is now a historical reference and may no longer resolve. It cannot retroactively create eligibility in 2026.

Could someone who missed the live broadcast still qualify?
Yes—during the original availability period. Epic said that players who missed the live presentation could enter the experience and watch its looping replay before the island closed on August 16, 2024. The relevant requirement was time spent in the experience, not necessarily watching the initial broadcast at its start time.
Can you still get Peelverine Plush now?
There is no current event-based claim method identified in the available official information. The D23 experience has ended, and Epic did not promise that the back bling would return to the Item Shop.
Epic did caution that the item might later become purchasable in the Item Shop. That means a future sale was possible, not guaranteed. Do not assume that the item is currently available, permanently exclusive to the livestream, or free in the Item Shop without checking Fortnite’s current in-game listings.

If you attended in 2024 but never received the reward
Epic’s general live-event support guidance says attendance rewards can take up to 72 hours after an event ends. Rewards may also appear directly in a player’s Locker without a prominent notification. That general guidance is useful context, but it is not a D23-specific confirmation of the delivery schedule. [Epic Games live-event support guidance]

Because the D23 event ended in 2024, the normal 72-hour waiting period has long passed. Treat a missing item now as an account-specific support issue:

- Open Fortnite and check the Locker, searching your back bling collection for Peelverine Plush.
- Confirm that you are signed in to the same Epic Games account used to attend the event.
- Check any linked console account information and make sure you are not viewing a different Fortnite profile.
- If the item is still missing, contact Epic Games Support and explain that you attended Disney Horizons Live from D23 in 2024 but did not receive the attendance reward.
Have the account details and any available evidence of attendance ready. Support may need to investigate the account rather than issue a normal delayed-event reward.
Optional Windows troubleshooting for Fortnite problems
You did not need special hardware or software to watch the D23 presentation. However, Windows players who are troubleshooting crashes, freezes, or graphics problems should start with Epic’s own recommendations:
- check Fortnite’s system requirements;
- update the graphics driver through the appropriate manufacturer;
- make sure Fortnite is using the intended high-performance GPU, particularly on laptops;
- review Fortnite’s video settings; and
- try Performance Mode where appropriate for stability or performance problems.
Those steps address gameplay and PC performance; they do not restore a closed live event or make a player eligible for Peelverine. As an optional third-party approach, Windows players may compare an optional driver updater or PC-maintenance tool, but such software is not required, is not an Epic product, and should not be treated as an Epic endorsement. Manual driver updates and Fortnite’s built-in settings should come first. [Epic Games technical support documentation; third-party product information]
Readers who still have Windows graphics-driver problems may optionally compare Outbyte Driver Updater, but it is not required for Fortnite and is not endorsed by Epic.

The reward was the Peelverine Plush Back Bling, a Peely-and-Wolverine-themed back bling. It was not the Wolverine Outfit, Wolverine Zero, or X-23.

No current eligibility method has been identified. The old code was 7908-6413-2516, but the island may no longer resolve after the event closed.

Epic said the back bling might later be sold in the Item Shop, but did not guarantee a return or provide a date. Check the current in-game Item Shop rather than relying on old event instructions.

The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Disney Horizons Live from D23 was a 2024 Fortnite event, not a currently watchable broadcast. Its 10-minute attendance reward was the Peelverine Plush Back Bling—not a Wolverine Outfit—and the only possible future acquisition route identified by Epic is an unguaranteed Item Shop appearance.
