A fight appearing in a DAZN catalog in Canada or another country does not establish that it is available in the United States. Check the catalog after signing in from the country where you are located.
What happens if you bought the PPV in 2024?
Do not assume that an old PPV purchase created a permanent digital ownership right. DAZN’s PPV FAQ states that a purchased fight was generally available on demand within four hours after the event and for seven days afterward.

- Confirm that you are signed in to the account used for the purchase.
- Disable VPNs and proxies.
- Update the DAZN app.
- Restart the streaming device and router.

For a live PPV event, a licensed sports bar or restaurant can sometimes be cheaper than buying a personal PPV, particularly for a group. For this completed fight, call the venue before making a trip and ask:
- Whether it is showing a replay or any related boxing programming.
- Whether there is a cover charge.
- Whether the venue imposes a food-and-drink minimum.
- Whether it has the appropriate commercial rights for the event.

Should you use a VPN to find a free stream?
No. A VPN does not remove a PPV requirement or turn a paid archive into free content. DAZN states that it does not support VPN use to bypass territorial restrictions, and its terms prohibit circumventing geographic controls with VPNs or proxies.

Unofficial sports-streaming pages often make the same offer—“free full fight”—but the player may be designed to get you to click something else. Common warning signs include:
- Multiple fake play buttons or urgent countdowns.
- Pop-ups that send you to unrelated websites.
- Requests to install a special player, browser extension, or mobile app.
- Fake CAPTCHA instructions telling you to press keyboard shortcuts or paste commands.
- Requests for DAZN, email, credit-card, or social-media credentials.

The Federal Trade Commission warns that illegal streaming apps can expose devices and networks to malware, credential theft, and financial fraud. The FBI has also warned that free-sports streaming devices and apps can contain malware or backdoors that allow criminals to misuse a home network.
There is a legal issue as well as a security issue. The U.S. Copyright Office has recognized that unauthorized retransmission of sports streams implicates copyright’s public-performance right. That does not mean every person who encounters an unauthorized stream automatically faces criminal prosecution; consequences depend on the conduct, scale, commercial purpose, and applicable jurisdiction. The practical advice is simpler: do not enter credentials, install unknown software, or rely on a site that has no identifiable rights holder.
