Amazon Prime Video’s June 2024 lineup was particularly useful for documentary viewers: it added sports profiles, music and performance documentaries, activist filmmaking, and a substantial selection of older nonfiction titles. The most notable premieres were Power of the Dream, Federer: Twelve Final Days, and I Am: Celine Dion.
This is the U.S. schedule. Prime Video availability varies by country, and some programs listed in June guides were offered through paid Prime Video Channels rather than a standard Prime membership.

The film is as much about collective political action as it is about basketball, making it a strong choice for viewers interested in the relationship between sport, public life, and social movements.
Federer: Twelve Final Days — June 20
This feature documentary follows Roger Federer through the last 12 days of his professional tennis career. It also includes appearances from Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray, giving the film unusual access to the relationships surrounding one of tennis’s most significant retirements.

It is not simply a concert film: the documentary focuses on the performer’s health, identity, and effort to continue working under difficult circumstances.
Older documentary titles added June 1
The month began with a broad library refresh rather than a single documentary event. Among the nonfiction and documentary-oriented additions were:
- I Am Ali
- I Am Bolt
- Incendies
- Just Mercy
- Milk
- No Country for Old Men
- Paths of Glory
- Precious
Not every title in this group is a documentary. I Am Ali and I Am Bolt are the clearest documentary picks; several of the other additions are dramas or narrative films that address historical, political, or social subjects.
