Steve Thaler makes a revolutionary discovery about human cognition in the mid 1970s as he observed neural networks developing a consciousness of their own by experimenting with colonies of neural networks that seemed to interplay and engage into brainstorming sessions amongst them to actually contemplate matters and produce the equivalent of a stream of consciousness. This led him to demonstrate how these neural networks could be captured in inorganic systems of switches and interconnections and enabled to undergo feelings, be self-aware and even make their own decisions!
