Electricity is the flow of electrical power or charge. The energy sources we use to make electricity can be renewable or non-renewable, but electricity itself is neither renewable or non-renewable. Electricity is a basic part of nature and it is one of our most widely used forms of energy.
What will happen without electricity? Well, most importantly, many services integral to the functioning of the society would be put to a halt. Patients in hospitals would suffer severe problems. The stock market would be put on halt. People will have to stay in the dark in the night.
Is it possible to live without electricity? Nowadays we call it living off the grid. But, if you plan on trying to live without electricity, you will no longer be able to turn on the central heating in your home, use the toilet, preserve food in your fridge/freezer or have clean running water.
Nowadays, we are so reliant on electrical power that it would be a shock to many if you no longer had the regular supply.
