Two parties, documentary about two of the deepest questions there – is everything, and what is not?

In two epic, surreal and mind-expanding movies, Professor Jim Al-Khalili seeks an answer to these questions, exploring the true size and shape of the universe and delves into the amazing science behind nothing apparent.

The first part, everything is Professor Al-Khalili set out to discover what the universe might actually be similar. The journey takes him from the distant past the limits of the known universe.

Along the way he traces the extraordinary story of men and women who discovered the truth about the cosmos and investigates how our understanding of space has been shaped by mathematics and astronomy.
