Ants are some of the more interesting insects in our world. They are small, and almost non-noticeable, but they are there.

Ants have been part of many television shows, and popular culture. After all, we have Ant-Man movie this year.

Some interesting facts about ants is that they have poor-to-mediocre eyesight. Some subterranean species are completely blind. And there are some ants that have excellent vision.

Ants are social insects, and live in large colonies or groups. Depending on the species, some colonies can consist of millions of ants. The three kinds of ants in a colony are the queen, the female workers, and the males. The workers do not have wings, while males and the queen have wings.

In all, there are more than 10,000 known ant species found across the globe, and this documentary helps you go deeper into their world.
