Blue is the color of light between violet and green on the visible spectrum. Some hues of blue include indigo blue and ultramarine. In fact, there are more than a hundred hues of blue.
But while blue is an amazing color, have you ever wondered, why it is so oddly rare in nature? Yes, of course, except for the sky and the ocean.
Yet, we rarely see blue animals. And when we see blue animals, we call them rare, unique, and of course, amazingly beautiful.
This video looks at some blue animals and tries to explain how living things make blue. The conclusion is why this beautiful hue is so rare in nature.
