All aboard! Take a trip through South America’s most spectacular train line, the Trans-Andean railroad, as it weaves its way through the heart of Ecuador. The journey is one of discovery, traversing the Andean mountains from the Pacific coast up to the highlands.

With steep ascents and descents, riders are treated to stunning views, such as the infamous Nariz del Diablo, or Devil’s Nose, a mountain with almost perpendicular walls. The adventure is made all the more exciting by the presence of guards on motorcycles, who stop traffic at every level crossing to let the train pass.
