The murder of Jamal Khashoggi

This explosive documentary takes a deep dive into the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi – the Saudi Arabian journalist and critic whose gruesome murder shocked the world. The film painstakingly reconstructs Khashoggi’s final days and investigates the rumours and allegations surrounding his death.

The documentary includes exclusive testimony from Khashoggi’s closest circle – including his fiancée Hatice Cengiz – as they recount the emotional turmoil of his death, the hope that he may still be alive, and the agony of not knowing where his body is. The film also visits locations in London, Washington, Istanbul, and Montreal to interview Khashoggi’s friends, security experts, analysts, and activists. Meanwhile, reenactments, archival footage, aerial photographs, graphics, and animations are used to reconstruct the events leading up to, and during, Khashoggi’s murder. With shocking revelations and UN Special Rapporteur Agnès Callamard’s claim of “credible evidence that requires further investigation into the involvement of senior Saudi Officials in the crime, including the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman himself,” this is a must-watch for anyone who wants to know the truth behind one of the most alarming cases of state-sponsored terrorism in the 21st century.
