This year we celebrate 40 years anniversary of the first Star Wars movie. The latest installment of the saga, Episode 8, is about to hit theaters.

With that in mind, it is time to look back in time, and see how the first movie was created. There have been many stories about making of the first movie.

What we know for sure is that in 1977, George Lucas created something amazing. Some 40 years later, Star Wars is a sub-culture, with fans all over the world.

Not many people could have seen this coming. In fact, even Lucas himself did not believe Star Wars could have the success it had. Today we can enjoy the movies, but back in 1977, there was a lot of pressure on Lucas.

The documentary follows the story behind making of Star Wars: A new Hope, the 1997 epic movie that launched one of the most successful sagas of all time. Hosted by C-3PO and R2-D2, the documentary features appearances of George Lucas, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill.
