Hippies were part of a massive hippie movement, a countercultural movement that rejected the mores of mainstream America life.

The hippie movement was active during the 1960s and the 1970s. Beginning in the 1960s, the hippie movement was very influential on American politics, law, and everyday life.

Hippies became famous for their influence in the widespread Vietnam protests. They were basically antiwar and promoted peace and love for being the answer to all things.

With that in mind, a lot of people still do not understand the hippie movement. This documentary helps you understand one of the more influential movements in American history.
