Everyone can become a music star. As long as you follow your dream, and you make sure that you get everything you wanted from life. Simply Mary is a perfect example for that.
This woman is normal in every aspect of life. She is not some Hollywood A-list star. She does not have a big production company behind her. But thanks to words spoken to her by her daughter, she takes the journey to becoming a music performer.
Her daughter told her “I won’t bend, and I won’t break”, and that inspired her to pursue her dream. She had several gigs in bars and pubs, and has even released an album. In 2015, she released the album “Freedom bound”, an album dedicated to survivors of domestic violence.
Now, she believes it is time to move forward, and make people dance with her new album. She believes you never live by your past as your future. Simply Mary tells her story in this documentary, showing that if you want to move forward, you can make it. It is always an inspiration to see regular Joes succeed in life and provide some meaning for the rest of us.
