Refugees on EU’s doorstep

Thousands of refugees, yearning for a better life in Europe, are now flocking to the Spanish exclave of Ceuta on the North African coast. Yet, with limited entry permitted to mainland Europe, most are finding themselves stuck in Spanish territory. Despite the challenges, Sabah Hamed, a resident of Ceuta, has welcomed many illegal immigrants into her home.

Through the eyes of journalist Norman Striegel, this documentary takes a deep dive into the lives of these refugees, their struggles and the humanitarian efforts of Sabah Hamed.
