National Geographic The Dark Side of Dubai

When people think of Dubai, the first things that come to mind are oil, rich people, wealth, glamour, luxury, and modern living. But that is just what you mostly see on TV.

There are dark sides to Dubai, one which only someone who has been there, or has lived there for quite some time, can tell you. It is not all glitters and gold.

For starters, Arab laws are pretty inhuman to non Arabs. This documentary takes a look at the story of one woman who has experienced the dark side of Dubai.

You might guess what it is about. But watch the whole documentary just so that you understand more of the world in Dubai that is usually hidden for the public.

The documentary will surely open your eyes, and make you think twice before thinking to move to Dubai as a foreigner.
