Zimbabwe's Forgotten Children tells the story of three children trying to survive in Robert Mugabe's Zimbabwe, a country which was once the jewel of Africa but where the infrastructure is now in terminal collapse.
Grace, Esther and Obert show us how they not only struggle to put food in their mouths but also desperately seek the money they need to pay next term's school fees.
Robert Gabriel Mugabe was a Zimbabwean revolutionary and politician who served as Prime Minister of Zimbabwe from 1980 to 1987 and then as President from 1987 to 2017.
Having dominated Zimbabwe's politics for nearly four decades, Mugabe was a controversial figure. He was praised as a revolutionary hero of the African liberation struggle who helped free Zimbabwe from British colonialism, imperialism, and white minority rule.
