Iceland is well known as a glacier paradise. With more than 11% of the total land area covered by ice caps, Iceland is a country that tourists love to visit to see some glaciers.
Vatnajokull glacier, for example, is the largest glacier not only in Iceland, but in Europe as well. Many of the largest glaciers are in the country, so it is not easy for travel guides.
Francesco Li Vigni is a glacier tour guide. He is born on Palermo, Sicily, and he came to Iceland after years of training and experience in outdoor recreation.
