Some people enjoy the urban neighborhood. And then there are those who want a quiet and peaceful life that the village offers.
Such is the case with German couple Karl and Tina. They and their neighbors celebrate life in the mountains, enjoying winter and greeting the arrival of spring.
They live in rural Niigata Prefecture, in the village of traditional Kominka homes. They have all been renovated by Karl Bengs, a German architect who moved to the area with his wife.
Karl and Tina enjoy every piece of the rural and village life they get. Yes, sometimes it can get challenging, but this documentary will help people understand how they live.
