Flexible Buildings: The Future of Architecture

With record-breaking population numbers, our planet is facing new challenges about how we can coexist and create society that fosters encounters and communities. Among the most pressing issues in this respect is the state of infrastructure in our world. Urban areas have been criticized for being anonymous and isolating, yet we must find ways to revitalize them as places of human interaction.

One promising solution to creating new spaces in places where there is no space left is the use of technology. Innovations in virtual reality, augmented reality, and other fields have opened up new possibilities for designing and experiencing cities in imaginative ways.

Moreover, sustainable building practices have the potential to revolutionize the construction industry and help us create infrastructure that is not only functional but also environmentally friendly. The documentary we recommend delves into these ideas and presents current concepts and implementations from the core disciplines of architecture, development of building materials, and urban design.

In short, the promise of creating sustainable, human-centered, and innovative cities is within reach. We encourage you to watch the documentary to learn more about how we can arrive at this bright future.
